I think a dip to those prices is very unlikely from here.

The case for precious metals and commodities in general is very solid and any buying opportunities in the form of sell offs are going to be absorbed very quickly.

I would very much appreciate any and all sell offs, particularly in uranium miners, as i want to stuff by bags as fat as possible in next 6 months. I really believe 6 months is all we have, at a max, to purchase undervalued commodities assets at undervalued prices.

almost all of my liquid net worth is in small cap silver miners and i've only managed to get about a 1/10th into uranium miners but they have pumped hard recently. all cash flow goes into whichever of my favourite small caps I feel are the most undervalued at the time.

I also manage my parents retirement fund and they have 1/3 physical silver, 1/3 PM miners, 1/3 Uranium miners. ironically i have performed far greater with their money than my own, simply because they had more liquid cash ready to go meanwhile i depend on my monthly cashflow.

Solar Flare is not going to destroy the entire electric network, and even if it did, you just have to rebuild the generators from the scratch and they will work again. BTC will survive the EMP blast due to how the distributed ledger on Blockchain works.

Still, gold and silver would really be worth a fortune, so I guess every asset wins. Land, seeds and guns are better tho.

Hum I see, you're kind of like me with your monthly income as your only source of investment. I didn't get into uranium miner yet as I don't have a solid position in silver miner. Most people expect a very big run-up and top around May so I'll focus on PM until April.

What uranium miner do you have on your list ? The best I've seen as small caps are CanAlaska uranium and Purepoint uranium. The other are either too gambling for my taste (mga) or pumped hard already. The best middle ground is UEX I guess. The main problem is I have a hard time getting the level of return we can expect so I just focus on PM.

Here is a lesson in mining eBay for silver (1/2)

Indeed the competition for freshly listed cheap Buy it Now sterling in the "Antiques" category is more fierce lately, the only fresh listing I got yesterday was the Mexican trinket/pill box with no weight or dimensions given, but at just 14.59 with tax it's a good deal because Silver boxes are collectible and they can always fetch well over spot price. It's for keeping in the Viking treasure hoard, not for melting.

Next is 5 bucks in silver dimes, total price $98 which is pretty good for an auction format batch of coin Silver and barely over spot. Not particularly special but PMG baker admonished me for not having enough coin so I'll be working on filling the FWTDHW bags. Note the crappy title, by just searching "5 face silver" or similar you can find decent deals that others screen out with more detailed search strings.

Next was an old listing for a pair of sterling handled salad servers which should yield 38-44 grams of sterling when broken down, $14.15 total. Listed in a dumb category which is why no one bought it. I searched "sterling salad" across all of eBay sorted lowest price first to see if I could find cheap servers and sterling-base wooden bowls lurking around. No bowls but the servers were a good deal.

Next we have an old listing for salad forks I found in the "sterling salad" search. It was a dutch auction discounted from 50 down to 20 with further discounts for buying multiples so I bought the remaining 5 for $93.28 total with tax, ~180 grams (~$141 melt). That's a bit over my ~.50/gram limit but it all averages out and solid flatware is top tier scrap. Clearly the original price of $50 each was crap, but when people apply storewide discounts to their listings good deals can fly under the radar so it's good to search around occasionally looking for deals like that.

Next is a weighted sterling compote listed crappily that I found searching "sterling bowl" sorted cheapest first. No weight or dimensions given so I found an identical example confirming it was a standard size ~6"x6" compote which should yield 60-80 grams when broken down. At 26.50 total it was a definite buy.

Last is a pair of 5.25" shakers with weighted bases found searching "sterling shaker" sorted cheapest first. Shakers with glass inserts are garbage and plentiful on eBay so be careful, but these looked good, and with engraved and sturdy looking bodies they should yield 35-45 grams each. Included in the listing was some garbage plated stuff which jacked up the shipping to 17 bucks so I messaged the seller saying I just wanted the shakers and the resulting cheaper shipping. They were happy to get a sale so they edited the listing and I paid $26.18 total for probably 80 grams ($63 melt).

Ebay is loaded with good deals so poorfags take note and know that you can get a heavier stack for your dollar if you dig around a little. Good luck!

I use "Prospector's Gold and Gems" in Fort Collins, CO so I can stack kilos, but there are other refineries you can use. Check them out here: https://prospectorsgoldandgems.com/silver-refining/

They also refine and return gold 1/10oz rounds and bars.

The premiums over spot people pay for their poured bars and ingots are pretty good and they will make all sorts of different sizes for you which is lots of fun. I'll probably get an assload of 1ozers made next time I drop off a load because they feel damn awesome in the hand and won't be harmed by playing with them. You know better than anyone that one doesn't need to pay spot or spot+premiums to get PMs but most people don't seem to know how or where to start and scrapping is easier than being an educated and experienced miner with good placer and hardrock claims in the portfolio. I've panned a whopping 0.11g of gold in my life, doubt I'll be able to hack it as a miner lol.

Great suggestion, I've read about the scrapworthy Silver contacts in electric motors and how one can buy shelves of silver components from liquidation auctions of defunct custom motor manufacturers and the like but have never done it myself and haven't managed to find any sources of motors to take apart around here. I know you're used to doing this with stocks, trying to justify it. It's a scam where bigger fool buys from you for higher price. Musical chairs basically. In the end you're most likely going to win though, at least this is what past 10 years suggest. Just buy it and come back in over a year.

I mean I'm as green as it gets when it comes to investing in the stock market. I've built up as good of a physical holding as I can reasonably get and now I'm moving on to the stock market. I've got some money in crypto but I have no faith that it's a "real" investment. I look at the money I have in crypto the same as I would walking into a casino. Money that's already lost and if I get to walk away with more than I started I'll consider it an unexpected outcome. The risk exposure with BTC is way too high for me to even make it 50% of where my money lies. I guess you could look at the stock market in a similar fashion but that seems like a willfully ignorant perspective.

Collect scrap and have them make some of your own!

I just got back from the local indoor flea market and did pretty well, got me 3.5 pounds of pewter (mostly tin) for 14 bucks (worth about $11-12/lb) and scored some decent sterling, the main deal being a 72 gram cup that was priced 9.99 but was also 20% off (topkikel) so only 8 bucks. With the Silver handled salad servers (5.99) and cake knife I got ~155 grams of sterling ($122 melt value) for $26. Instant gains my frens.

My cheap March-bought buttcoin has been doing great, but I'd like to see those crypto pumping retards stack Silver every day for way below spot. Don't let them get under your skin fellas, PMs are the only real money and sooner or later that ponzi scheme will crumble (hopefully not until after after I sell my bags for some more Gold lel).

Just defaulting on all bonds would end dollar reserve currency status overnight, banking sector would become a smoking crator and there would likely be blood on the streets. Not gonna happen, inlating the debt away is much more likely
