RSI is always between 0 and 100 by design and signals at 20 and 80. Already discussed this in another thread
RSI hitting extremes does not indicate an extreme change in price. It indicates a likely weakening of the current trend. RSI can regress in a period of sideways movement within a range. It can also regress on downward price adjustment although the trend continues higher after that.
Look in May 2017. May 11 RSI,14,close is 95. Price moves sideways for some time before advancing higher. RSI peaks three more times at 92 and 82, the former is moves sideways and then higher, the latter it finally declines 35%. RSI goes below 20 and then the price gains 140%.

McAfee got shat in the mouth by a whore in panama. people would sell off their houses, pensions, take out loans. btc and eth networks would get so clogged and there were a million ICOs going on. I'm telling you this was not even the top. the craziest thing is though. if you think the price is moving fast now... it goes faster and higher and faster and higher. 10k ups and down will be normal this time. maybe even 30k.

You just do not understand how much power is wasted every year on these "waste load" systems. We are talking like 10% of all power generated is wasted on these loads, thats not even counting AC>DC>AC conversions like between the Texas and north American grids. Crypto monetizes all of that. So just the purposefully diverted power, if diverted into mining rigs, will power btc (and all other cryptos) no problem. Banks are loaning money to mine coin with solar, they aren't loaning money to build solar farms.

you see, the real scary reality is that there isn't anyone in charge. Just many factions trying to control, trying to appear in control, trying to wrest control. Proof of this is that society breaks down fast, like a matter of days, in true crisis. No one is at the wheel, no one ever was. These factions, like glowies, the feds, ethnic groups of all stripes do exert influence sure. But even something like propaganda would not be required if they actually had real power not just the illusion of it.
>Free from the banks
Regarding the banks. I like my bank, they give me services, I pay them; its a fair deal. I even admire SWIFT, for what it is and the time it was created. My opinion on crypto has nothing to do with ideology and everything to do with the direction the world is actually going. Its forging ahead with no one at the wheel, just like always. call up your local branch after new year. ask for a personal line of credit of $50k. That should take about a week. Then leverage that line of credit with the same bank with a business plan and a partner with a proven transactional record with that bank. I partnered with a developer, my plant will allow him to build homes "off grid" in a place with a decent school system on land that was "worthless" because of the cost to bring in power. Banks are looking for customers. They run a business. Dont have to trust me, just try it yourself. Its really not even hard. Just requires like 1000 cold calls.

Last analysis showed the power consumption to be closer to a city the size of St.Louis. The facts are there are a million miners, going 24 hours a day, and in this decade we are going to fully transition to green energy. Everything is going to change, including bitcoin.

Its probable, not possible, the protocol is changed, but in the end, I don't think the protocol matters and the ledger is the fundamental reason for its value. It doesn't matter what the reason might be for a new consensus- regulation (mandate), a hack (quantum), or economic (block reward sustainability). I would expect consensus will be arrived at in any of these cases to preserve the value. The idea of simply forking a new chain to achieve another another technical specification has proven to have little value. So I wouldn't be surprised it becomes PoS, or hybrid, or Quantum, or it could end up running wrapped up in an a Eth token, oh wait, it already is.

>that line of 6 cars idling around the bank branch at 1pm going through the drive through

Totally, thats why I plan on mining ETH and doing CGI rendering. No custom chip sets, no waiting in line for said chips, no essential risk if one coin gets caboshed. Plus there are state subsities, plus I can always shut down 80% of the plant and sell to the homeowners for the next 20 years and recoup capital barring that. But let's say I did go btc mining instead, at todays prices and today's hashrate, I'd be out from under the loan in less than 2 years. Thats what I priced out for a 125 kW set up. However, the potato seller's twin brother appeared and offered $1000 in monopoly money for a potato, promising verbally to redeem $1 of his monopoly money for $1 eventually.

The twin brother buyer swore he had $1,000,000 stashed away, but he can't bring it out, so he had to use monopoly money.

I ended up paying $1001 for my potato, but that was a great bargain!
