But for your own personal place to live in, and your family place to live in; if you got a good spot in your means, and your credit is good, why not? Cheaper than rent, builds credit/equity, after 30 years I have a house, if I want to move it's more trouble depending on market but shouldn't be too much of an issue regardless.
