It was a ballsy move to invest in crypto like that for sure.

The decision to refinance on the other hand was a no brainer. I got a lower apr, which is nice, but it added 5 years to my remaining payoff time, and my monthly payment is 100 dollars more expensive.

However, getting a check for 52 grand at the beginning of an obvious buyer's market/bullrun was honestly the best financial choice I could have made at the time.
