Garlicman took a shot at china and now china is retaliating by sinking XRPs value(look at the XRP velocity of volume ledger, most of the transactions right now are the Chinese). Garlicman also called out the US publicly on siding with China (BTC and ETH) and not supporting an American company.

If the SEC does put XRP in the grave, it will look like the US has bent the knee to china politically. The US government cannot do this for pure optics (as well as geopolitical) reasons.
Ripple Labs will win this case on pure optics alone and then XRP will sky rocket.

Further, Coinbase will not delist XRP any time soon. Armstrong and Garlicman are both SF US based CEOs, they both have each other on speed dial. Further Coinbase needs this case to succeed, as it has major implications for all US based Crypto Currency Companies.

I would not worry about anything until Coinbase says something, which they won't. Coinbase is most definitely supporting Ripple Labs behind the scenes.

This FUD will pass as this is pure theater at this point.
