There are more and more companies focusing on blockchain tokenization of real assets.

If, how and when will this improve anything in the way we handle our economy?

To understand Tokenization in full, awareness and education is needed. These Tokenization platforms shouldthemselves create a series of content on Tokenization.

Let's say you want to get a mortgage on your house. What are you going to do? You will provide banks with your credentials and they give you a rate and you'll pick the best offer. That's how the banking jew gets rich.

How might that work in the future? You tokenize your house and get a mortgage on some decentralized platform. That will cut away a lot of middleman because you can directly get a mortgage from people and you will be able to get a better rate than at a traditional bank.

Think about how decentralized exchanged enabled everyone to become a market maker. Tokenization of real world assets will allow everyone to become a bank.

Yes, you're completely right. I think there's 2 problems which need to be solved before DeFi can be adopted by the masses:
1. bring real-world assets into blockchains
2. make it normie-friendly; right now if you lose your 12 words seed or get it stolen your funds are just gone and can't ever be recovered

>>25049000
That's basically like saying if your internet is down you don't own your bank account because you can't access the online-banking.

rvx claims that with sonce you can take your real-world assets and bring it in the digital world.
regarding the 12 words, man, just keep it safe. that is not a problem at all. i still can believe someone can lose those.

>> No.25049363

>>25049243
Even if you understand the tech, someone can just hold you at gunpoint and demand the 12 words seed and then you'll immediately lose your whole net worth. Or you get into a car accident and forget the seed and where you wrote it down. The funds you have in a bank account are secure from scenarios like that. Imagine losing access to your whole life savings and your (tokenized) home because of some freak accident.

>> No.25049400

tokenization makes fractional ownership possible

for instance, right now, if you want to earn passive rental income for a $500k house, you need to secure a $50k deposit and take out a $450k mortgage. In return, you get $2000/month rent.
But what if you can't afford $50k?
If the house was tokenized, you could buy 1/10th of the house, pay 1/10th of the mortgage, and get paid $200/month in rent.
Nothing fundamentally changes, but it makes different investments and rewards way more affordable.

It's the perfect solution for the broke zoomer generation

>> No.25049422

just wait and see it go past $1 in one month lol
don't say i didn't warn ya

>> No.25049442

>>25049400
to add, it also opens up fractional ownership of things you could either never afford, or be allowed to own.

Imagine being a fractional owner of a bridge and earning tolls on it. Or being the fractional owner of the Yankees stadium and earning a portion of the ticket sales

No, you can't trust normies with that. Normies get phished all the time. They're going to enter their seed phrase into some web form at some point and lose everything. Look at this StackExchange thread, that's what normies are like:

Even if you're very careful and own a hardware wallet, someone can steal it and extract the private key from the microcontroller (see the Trezor exploit for example). That might sound retarded, but I think it's a realistic scenario if you have six-figures or more on your wallet.
