ITT: BAD TAKES, GOOD TAKES, SHILLING - WHATEVER YOU FANCY
This and more:
Will BTC forever remain dominant? Will it become the reserve currency of a healthy crypto ecosystem? Or will altcoins wither and die under its pressure?
Has alt season just begun? Can LINK recover? Can normies ever hope to grasp XRP's potential?

will be back in a few hours, let's see if this thread makes it

legit think ETH will be irrelevant in 5 years
It's painfully slow and irrationally expensive and has a very high failure rate.
Works okay when the market is shit, but in booming markets, it's downright unusable
Considering that the entire ETH ecosystem is still babby sized compared to global financial system, it's not even remotely ready for primetime

Wall Street and Silicon Valley are going to like ETH but not its speed or stability. They'll find a protocol that can fit their needs and shill ETH out of existence

BTC is a new paradigm and will decide EVERYTHING. Future generations who haven't inherited any will be ultra cucked. Imagine a wealthy elite of the 0.000001% who hold more than 1 btc are akin to todays jeff bezos & musk. However, differently than today, there will be no millionaires or wealthy middle class. 99.999999% will be priced out slumrats dwelling in the gutters barely kept alive by a social welfare program designed to harvest their organs and menial labor while AI-controlled kill-machines patrol the gutter-slums of the poor, eradictating anyone who is able to amass some financial freedom, transferring everything to the elite.

So on which side do you want your children to live ?

While I do think that BTC will eventually be worth $1M/coin, there is a non-zero chance that it will be regulated out of existence

There will be no Alt Season. Not within the next six months at least.

PRQ is going to a follow a link-esque trajectory.

BTC will never be worth 1m a coin, there is less room for it to grow than you think. Compare how many people own stocks to how many people own crypto.

xrp holders will be talked about in the same breath as bitconnect victims years from now

Eth will be the dominant player for a while, any potential competition will just offer to integrate in as a shard/rollup out of respect for vitalik, ala xdai, eventually a competitor funded by corporate and financial interests will come along that gives no shits about historical figures and displace it

Assblaster will return the day link hits $1000 to shitpost

Cz will become a bezos esque figure

Rlc will still be worth a dollar per barrel

More Bitcoin related forecasts:
>Time will have a cover page on Satoshi Nakamoto, probably person of the year
when he becomes the world's richest man and first trillionaire
>Brainlet commiefags and marxist leftists by inclination will start to hate Bitcoin, complaining about its unfairness or unequal wealth distribution or something
Despite not having done any work whatsoever to own some, indeed having not even really known or understood what it was for the past 10 years of its existence
>BTC will bring generational wealth with probably a maximum price of $10 million by 2040-2060 or so
wholecoiners will be rare indeed, perhaps the UHNWI of the future
>BTC will adopt optional protocol improvements to make it nearly completely private to transact
Though this will take a long time
>Lightning will work for small transactions, but practically no one will want to spend their bitcoins until the price levels out more in like the 2070s

>BTC will usher in the slow death of consoomerism
By giving people a hard money which will eat all other kinds of wealth storage and return the average person to a savings mindset

I'll admit that last one is a bit more fanciful, but possible

How is BTC more than a fiat derivative that lacks privacy and that can be cracked down on just the same?
I doubt it will reform. Obscure forks have so far failed to gain any traction.

>Likes XRP
This checks out

Go learn about it for yourself, your questions aren't new and people have been presenting clearly stated public arguments against them for 10 years now

enjoy holding an asset that isn't used for anything but speculation. it's not worth anything if you can't buy a loaf of bread with it without liquidating.
price =/= value
