If I actually fully make it, and 4chan is in trouble, I'd buy it to keep it alive. I probably could technically afford to now, but by all measures, 4chan would be a horrible investment. In order to make it half-decent, I would have to completely change the entire board culture in order to properly monetize it and make it profitable (which I would never do).

The hardest part seems to be, besides making it nice to use, that you need a large enough active user base for any chan alternative. Also you still need some form of moderation to prevent it to from being cluttered with spam and the nasty stuff nobody wants to see spammed. I recommend Kleros courts for moderation.
