I don't know the context in which you refer yourself to. But it depends on who you are and how curious you are of yourself and what you're capable of.

I think, the closest relationship you have to what you'd call "God" is through your family, but not in the way you may think. So as far as any common sense would allow, banks are already on board with ripple, with the alternative being remaining on the current system, where it takes days to clear transactions, where they cost a lot to be made, where it's based on a currency of a country that gets crazier every day, where you need nostro accounts in a bunch of banks where you could be using that money for something else
OR, cryptocurrencies that are not compliance friendly, where you have no control of what transactions are valid (being outside of your system), are not compatible with the vision of the "inclusive capitalism", costs too much and/or are slow, or are backed by people you have no idea who it is or if they are reliable

So ripple had 6 years and we're getting started right on time. To replace SWIFT and the dollar as ODL may take some time, but it's honestly a safe gamble that it will happen, and ripple is way ahead of the game for this much needed change. There's just no one/nothing else that checks all these boxes.

I was googling around about the phenomena that I experienced and it's pretty interesting. Especially as I study CompSci and many things about the eye and pattern recognition reminds me of AI.
