Monero is literally one of the five coins that are legit in crypto. Whenever I'm buying drugs I use monero. Bitcoin is useless because it can be tracked so easily, and there's no way to get untracked except for switching to a coin like monero.

During the SEC disaster, the ENG/SCRT team were quietly passing off nodes to their friends to print off the majority of the SCRT supply for themselves even while the privacy advocates in the community stood by them.
