In an improving uranium market where they have the dominant position in the US, it’s not hard to imagine it reaching 20x earnings in which case you could see it trade for $8 per share in the next few years.

I started investing with 450 dollars. When I joined these threads I was fully expecting to lose my money, I mainly did it for shits and gigs.

The date was November 11 when I started, it took robinhood 2 days to verify my account, on the 13th of that month I asked a random anon to shill me the winning stock. I was told NIO was mooning and that an obscure company was related to them that no one had noticed, it was CBAT so I went all in, came out with 1k. Then as my stop loss was hit I asked again, what was the winner? I was told to go ALL IN on yet another stock, this time it was SPCE. I now have 1.3k. My own plays between that were PLTR whcih took me to 1.8k then back down to 1.1k.

However, I'm still not at a loss here. I would like to thank this community of bizarre autists who I allowed to play with my money and did not fail me.

I saw the Dow Jones took a massive dump but SPCE was somehow the one stock that went up from 8am to 11am somehow, that's when I bailed. I don't know where the bottom is so I think I'll wait until the next anon shills me another stock tomorrow.

>do you strictly stick to TA? im curious how you can make semi-accurate predictions
It's a slight mix. I don't think of my SOXL hold as TA, I actually believe in semiconductors. See pic related for a pasta I wrote a while back.
For most everything else, yeah, TA. My theory for when to sell SOXL is when volatility rises seeing as leveraged ETFs go to hell in that scenario. I use the underlying SOXX going under the 200 day moving average cuz the vix is for the S&P 500 and SOXX trades a bit different. So, yeah, using moving averages and trading off them is technically TA but I have a coherent theory that goes beyond just the numbers.
For trading the Russell 2000, I look for horizontal support and resistance. Right now I feel pretty good about 1700 there. It's a nice round number and people like trading those. It's previous resistance which in a bull market makes for solid new support. When/if we dip that far I'll buy and sell around 1850 where I anticipate some new resistance will form.
For the Nasdaq futures, I have some special sauce trend trading rules that I've back tested and seem to work. It doesn't use any moving averages but does take into account previous all time highs and current lows. There's a buy and sell between those two prices that seems to work and so far so good.
The upshot is I use TA but probably not like most people and I'm very very suspicious when people get too complicated with it and it starts to sound like voodoo. They're probably seeing something that isn't there.

US Senate Committee just passed a bipartisan bill to create a strategic uranium reserve - whole idea is to make it so that if trade was cut off / global war or shit hits the fan the US would have it's own independent supply of uranium and not have any supply disruptions - this means that US uranium companies will likely get favorable contracts / subsidies / in general be boosted
Japan had a massive stockpile of uranium after the earthquake took their reactors offline. They've been selling this stockpile, and since they aren't a producer they haven't been as stringent about getting the best price possible (driving the price down) This created a feedback loop where low uranium prices discouraged investment in uranium exploration / mining - 'why should I start a uranium mine if the price is so low?'
However, now the Japan stockpile is dwindling, and the world is realizing that we are not producing enough to meet the demand (shortage)
All central banks around the world are printing to try to save their economies from SARS fallout - this drives commodity prices higher (including uranium)
There are new reactors being planned throughout the world; countries trying to meet their carbon neutral by 2050/2060 goals need to invest in uranium energy
UUUU has a cap of $341M, and although it's not anywhere near as large as Cameco (for example) it's US based, meaning it'll take better advantage of the strategic uranium stockpile
It has the most room to boom on a uranium rally

Demand > Supply based on current fleet requirements. Future of nuclear irrelevant although China, India, and France want more, not less plants. Only reason for no shortage now is Japan reserves from closing their fleet after Fukushima. My personal opinion is that Japan will be forced to turn them all back on once they realize green memes always means coal, oil, and gas plants coming online.
Decade long bear market killed nearly everything. There are like 9 tickers of any note in the world. Swings with the market violently until those Japan reserves are gone (and stop depressing prices). Commodities plays are always months long at LEAST.

About half of it came from my college statistics classes so if you haven't taken any just sign up on Coursera or something. It will be very enlightening I promise you. To get a feel for how chaotic crypto is and how easily it lends itself to simple statistical methods I'd suggest watching every video on Youtube by a guy named quickfingersluc. He doesn't have any paid courses or upsells or anything. He's just a dude that likes to trade and talk about it. Supremely good teacher and very down to earth. The easiest way for newer traders is trend following. A very enlightening thread can be found here: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/grow-10k-account-to.339704/
Read that, study the pictures the guy is posting. Notice where he buys in and where he sets his stops. Reading and internalizing that thread was very helpful for me and pulled together a lot of ideas I had. Prior to reading that I mostly did reversion to the mean trading, basically buy the dip. And that works with a very high success rate but that high success rate can lull you into complacency where it dips and you buy then it dips more, next thing you know you've bought a dip that keeps on dipping with no idea how to get out. Trend trading on the other hand doesn't have that problem. Yes, the success rate per trade is lower but you will never be in a situation where you keep throwing good money after bad which is what new people get trapped in. When you get good at it your success rate will go up and you will make a lot more money than you lose. Read that thread.

>Unlike in Europe and the United States, Japanese utilities are not required to mark to market their fuel holdings. They are booked on Japanese operators’ balance sheets as fixed assets at the purchase price, the utilities told Reuters.

>Weekly RSI is at 79 (weekly RSI hit 87 in August 2018)

This gives decent probability that it will pull back and consolidate from here over the next few days
I am not necessarily advising to sell - just that it may be good to wait for more pullback and not FOMO in
It 100% is a great position to be in for the next 2 years, but I would not be surprised to see some pullback in the coming days
If it does pullback do not be afraid to buy the dip
It also could very well make another leg up - news of the uranium boom opportunity is starting to become more well known everyday

To build? 3x Raptors is probably $15M, the rest is stainless steel, some Tesla battery packs, avionics, etc. Probably under $50M. I don't think the number is publicly known right now, unless Elon said it on Twitter and I missed it. This is already one of the cheaper rockets in the world if launched once, but they're designed to be launched dozens to hundreds of times, the entire system is fully reusable.

Elon is targeting $1-5M per flight. That is cheaper than even tiny smallsat launchers, while carrying more payload than Saturn V. Starship is the next economic revolution.

>do you buy TQQQ? What ratio of SOXL to TQQQ to other ETFs?
I'm such a believer in the semiconductor sector that I hold almost exclusively SOXL. That said my second choice would be TQQQ and I would have no problem holding it or even the other big 3x leveraged ETFs like TECL, FNGU, or UPRO, etc. All of the large sector and index based ETFs move mostly in lockstep the only difference being some move faster than others and some have more inherent volatility. The order of best future gainers I'd say is UPRO (3x S&P), TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), TECL (3x tech sector), SOXL (3x semis), then FNGU (3x FAGMAN) that lst being the largest gainer but also the most volatile and riskiest. Another problem with FNGU is it doesn't have options so it doesn't work for me. SOXL has tons of volume, is focused on a high growth sector, has liquid options, and the underlying has just the right amount of volatility to make trading it easy. That latter point is important because although TQQQ sometimes outperforms SOXL, its underlying QQQ typically does not outperform the SOXL underlying SOXX. The reason TQQQ will outperform in that situation is SOXX is more volatile than QQQ but that just offers good trading opportunities. In short I like TQQQ but I like SOXL better. YMMV

it's an at-the-market offering
gamestop basically sell shares out their ass to the short sellers (well the market specifically) for them to cover with
Like obviously it's not a direct deal between gamestop and short sellers, but the offering adds to liquidity so short sellers aren't scrambling for a limited amount of shares

~$100 million worth of shares isn't a big deal at current stock prices but nothing's stopping them for doing more unless the board is replaced. I dunno if Sherman really understands how much shareholders hate him now. You can't dilute the stocks without huge backlash when sentiment is currently bad

Tesla gets away with it because it's Tesla. A bunch of weed stocks got away with it (like ACB) because it's weed hype. Gamestop doesn't get away with it because it's Gamestop. It seems to me that Sherman really thought the rising stock price was because of him

slack is a money losing business that has serious microsoft competition that is only going to make things harder. The market thinks they overpaid and are punishing the stock because of overpaying.

organic revenue growth is also important because that tells an investor how your main business is doing. Inorganic growth is how you grow revenue through acquisition. When organic revenue slows, sales multiples generally fall. which again puts pressure on the stock.

I mentioned it was added to the Dow because you saying SP500 was incorrect and the Dow is pretty useless with no real money indexed to it.

The short squeeze and the possibility of a hostile takeover by Cohen are the two main points of the stock, because even if you think Gamestop has a theoretical chance to pivot to online, no one seriously thinks that the current idiots in charge are competent enough to do so.
Sherman's actions threaten both points.

It isn't what happened. For some reason for the past couple of days that stock, does a glitch where it drops to 0.02 in afterhours. If you look at the actual bid/ask, you'll see it's nowhere near the 0.02.

I'm telling you guys, this same thing has happened three times previously and the opening price did not reflect the wild dip. Even if a whale sold why would they sell at .02 instead of selling at .26? It's a bug.
