Read this yesterday and kept it.

Q. why do you have such a blind faith in chainlink? i appreciate you wanting to live morally, if you are in fact being honest with your presentation. why is your sense of morality so tied up with a crypto project? it's extremely strange dude.

A. My faith isn't blind. I know the importance of read only TLS access in things like CanDID as a way of feeding live banking information to smart contracts in order to have things like dynamic credit scores underpinning instant loans through DECO.
I appreciate the revolutionary nature of things like Fair Transaction Ordering in order to eliminate frontrunning which is a huge source of unfairness in CEX trading, and multi-source price tethering to put killswitches on using quick pumps and dumps to liquidate margin positions.
These aren't just revolutionary technologies, they are tremendous steps forward in creating economic structures from the ground up that are immune to the sort of malicious behaviour that has plagued traditional markets and now plagues crypto through power asymmetries of entities like Binance.

And Chainlink is leading the charge on all of them, providing a toolkit of cryptographically provable fairness in everything from random number generation for the purposes of generating genesis blocks, or gambling, all the way through to the attested performance of complex computation within secure enclaves, allowing for cryptographic proof of proper execution while maintaining data privacy.

So it's more than the fact that Chainlink provides a sophisticated and diverse suite of smart contract processing and execution tools, it's the fact that they are at the forefront of developing a technology stack that, for the first time in history, instantiates fairness and accountability into the very genetic blueprint of the technology. That's remarkable, and world changing, and people should spend more time being excited about it than cooking up mediocre scams to deploy on "newfags" all so they can grub up a bit more cash in the short term.

Also, this:

on fud-

I've been in Chainlink since ICO/ED and all I've ever done is shared my understanding with people, to the extent that anons have said they bought based on bits of pasta I wrote.
That's a nice feeling knowing that people have made it because of my contribution. And their success doesn't impede my making it either. Anonymous internet is when you can really be as good or bad as you want to be, and if you choose to be bad then that's an insight into how your deepest self behaves when it doesn't think there are consequences.

API3 is jus another Band. It's not the first and it won't be the last. Appears out of the blue, shilled like mad and then rugpulled. The sad part is that for some newbies they don't see through it. It's not their fault, they just have to go through the learning phase. Pity some pajeets or whoever make money from them, but hey ho. That's life.

API3 looks legit, look at their github, not saying go balls deep, but to just discount decentralized APIs isn't smart
