API3 + Ergo + Emurgo + Cardano will kill it in 2021.

Team built the Honeycomb API Marketplace using Chainlink as the underlying infrastructure, operated 6 Chainlink nodes simultaneously, not counting the redundancies (4 for Honeycomb, 2 for Chainlink), and maintained the highest response ratio on reputation.link. You can be sure they know how much BS Link has and how to build a superior Oracle tech.

"Oracle pools have multiple approaches for incorporating governance (ChainLink has none). Furthermore oracle pool governance is very flexible and has a stronger impact than ChainLink’s passive reputation system. This means that oracle pools can use internal governance where individual oracles (who all have a game theoretic incentive to act well in order to earn money) vote on parameters/the list of oracles, or an external governance DAO which distributes the responsibility to a large number of DAO members can be used too. Due to the longevity of oracle pools, an external reputation system isn’t required, but instead direct action can be taken through the governance mechanism to immediately improve the quality of data and remove bad actors. This direct approach provides immediate effects which has a much greater impact for the end-user (furthermore a reputation system can still additionally be built on top if so desired, where if any oracle is kicked out of one pool their global reputation decreases)"

So each node is governed by who controls the pool in the node. If you can reach 51% of the total node pool you can then change the governance and provide false data to scam whoever you want. This means each pool will require DOUBLE the amount of collateral as chain-link to prevent this.

Based.

I was here during 17-18 when most of this board was full of people diagnosed with high functioning autism and Aspergers. Oldfags with high IQ's know whats going on with Cardano and their solution to the oracle problem is far superior to that of ChainLink.

Within recent years this board has been invaded by inferior sub human-beings who get scammed buying up Raj's homemade Uniswap tokens (yes there really is an Anon on this board called Raj from India that cooks up Uniswap scams) They also shout "MUH GHOST CHAIN, S-O-Y COIN, PLEBBIT" thinking that they have just laid down substantial high level criticism. The fud in every Cardano thread is the always the same and you cannot hold a coherent or intelligent conversation with these people. Their low IQ's and retardation sticks out like a fly on a wedding cake. Their argument is nonsensical at best and therefore can be disregarded as they are so feeble-minded that they bring nothing to the table.

The anon's that fud Cardano are the exact same people who buy flavour of the week shitcoin scams like Hex, Hex 2, Hex 3 Nulink, Stonks, Ghost, DMG ect..

There is literally no fucking hope for them.

That's literally a bad thing. Governance is an attack vector.
>Furthermore oracle pool governance is very flexible and has a stronger impact than ChainLink’s passive reputation system etc etc
So basically oracles with more tokens decide the outcome. That's a nice way to get hacked.
>This direct approach provides immediate effects which has a much greater impact for the end-user
No shit. The end user will be surprised all his money disappeared due to the feed spoof, just like Compound did this week.

Chainlink's solution to decentralized oracle networks requiring decentralized governance and decentralized identity is just doing those in a completely centralized way and disguising that with a lot of marketing. That will work, but only until you have legit competition.

Cardano is an ETH founder breaking off Roger Ver style to make big money during the ICO bubble. His angle and brand is "science". It's named after mathematicians and uses Haskell OMFG.

All of these projects are baby town sandboxes. Even ETH is but at least it has the mindshare to see adoption. This isn't VHS VS Beta. This is VHS VS some grad students building a proof of concept and selling a story.

Do you understand what the word "tech" means and how little code and programming actually changes over decades? OMFG our algorithms rock on paper!!!! When they're actually deployed, reality introduces all kinds of faults. ETH and BTC have been dealing with these the longest. To the point where they are almost considered reliable. Everything else is just trying to look good and make money.
