What you're resenting are poor people who were never aware enough to understand their situation and how to get out of it. To give in to your lot in life is contemptible, especially when you live in a society with social mobility. With social mobility evaporating in the Western World, those who overcome can feel even more superior to their contemporaries.

Anon here who hasn't made it yet, this is very much the way I feel about it, I've come to have a burning hated for complacency in myself which has also extended externally to others. There are times when I spot things that are obviously giving family or friends grief / potential money pits they could easily pull themselves out of. But when you ask them what they were planning to do, it almost always results in a nothing statement, when you give these people suggestions they just give a blank fucking stare back, it makes me want to call them a loser to their face.

>> No.24337366

>>24336990
Might be because you know most of them have a crabs-in-a-bucket sort of relationship with you via the political system, and that many of them just want to drag you down rather than pull themselves up. Thanks to politics/democracy there is no real boundary between you and them... If you try and help them you might expect it to work out like saving a drowning man who then proceeds to dunk you underwater as if you were an animate life raft. Things don't have to be zero-sum but politics will make it seem like that's the only way it can play out.

If they were not capable of harming and dragging you down, at least through degrading society/the culture as a whole and thus diminishing your enjoyment of being a member of this civilization, what reason would you have to dislike them?

Kinda. College was never a means for upwards social mobility. The stories of people getting jobs because they had a college degree in anything were from a time when it was actually valuable, and only available to the upper class. Since they sold college as being the only means to upwards social mobility, everyone got a college degree, which diluted the value to the point that most college degree programs do not net any benefit to those who acquire one.

People think college is a means to upward social mobility, but rather, it's a just a perk of being in a upper social class. Making it available to everyone didn't create opportunity for poor people, it gave them a fantasy which led many into debt. The increased cost of college is just a side effect of all this.

on the one hand I definitely believe growing up poor warps your development and faculties permanently, making it harder for the rest of your life as a functioning adult to pull yourself out of the pit you started in, relative to a person who grew up well off and then became poor later on. In that sense, I have nothing but sympathy for many poors, because they do have it immeasurably harder.

On the other hand, I just despise them on an aesthetic level. This gets exponentially stronger as my net worth grows. Passing by trailer parks, panhandlers, etc, witnessing poor people being poor just fills me with visceral revulsion now. The worst are the homeless, sleeping on stoops, rolling around their shopping carts fulls of trash, shambling about looking like soggy pieces of trash themselves. I wish someone would firehose them into a fucking gutter where they'd disappear and never come back.

I guess with my wealth my expectation is that I can begin to afford a lifestyle without grime, dirt, decay, etc. Seeing poors being poor probably reminds me of the inevitability of entropy and decay on a long enough time scale, which is why it enrages me so much. All our bodies end up as worn out pieces of trash in the end, no matter how much money we use to buffer ourselves from it.

Still though, fuck poors.

What are you talking about, being opportunistic is only part of the equation, you cant reduce everyone success just to winning the lottery just because that was basically what you did. Most of the wealthiest people today created something. Your view of the world, and the fact that you are the one accusing me of being reductionist (lol) just solidifies my belief that you are just too immature to have any real humility.

The fact that you automatically revert to telling me to seethe because you think I am a poorfag is also another sign of your insecurities. I have said nothing to indicate my wealth, but that is the first thing that you try to attack because you have nothing else to stand on other than the money from crypto. no, that don't work like that. I am not into tech or video games but I knew about Bitcoin in 2013, and never bought or mined a bit then. Also I advised my relatives to invest in Bitcoin, as they have money from selling my deceased father's apartment and I haven't. > Once someone has wealth it just shows you what kind of person they are by how they view their wealth and what they do with it.
If you look at a lot of the "old money" families (Rothchilds, Roosevelts, Venderbilts, etc) they typically view their finances as just one component of wealth. There is real and tangible value in non-monetary assets, such as the skills you have, the relationships you build, or your standing in society. Philanthropy plays a large role in their family identity because even though it is a "loss" short-term financially, if it is contributed wisely it can build a legacy long beyond an individual's lifetime. Think of art collections at the Met or building public works that will be tied to your family's name forever.
Granted, OP isn't at that level of wealth but he's probably young and has enough time to try and build that kind of legacy.

College is more expensive because the government promised every nigger a loan that they too can go. What did colleges do with more demand. They further limited the supply and raised prices.

Everything else said is spot on. I mean in the past those with a college degree were already destined to do well via nepotism. Like how the aristocracy of the old had children who studied philosophy and were fine. Even though that was even more worthless in the 1700's.

I'm not even rich and I hate poor people. Eventually those with the money gets tired of the constant whining and you end up getting genocided. I just want to be left alone with my family and not some poor retard angry because someone has a dollar in there pocket.

But your anecdote basically confirms what I said. The fact that you advised your family to invest when you didn't invest any amount yourself speaks to the level of conviction you had in your beliefs, for most of 2013 you could get a btc for less than 100$, if you knew it was a good thing you would be living like an absolute peasant or getting whatever extra work you could to dump all your money into it, but you didn't. You cant just look back at it in hindsight and say that you knew all along just because you heard of it.

I heard of bitcoin when it was less than a dollar, but didn't invest until several years later, that doesn't make me a savant or anything.

This is thinly veiled commiespeak about giving what you have rightfully struggled to gain to your neighbour. Your neighbour deserves nothing except his freedom to help himself. If he does not utilise his freedom to improve his lot in life, he deserves his poverty death and hardship.

That is how God created the universe. Capitalism is an extension of the law of the jungle. The law of the jungle is a law of nature designed by God. Capitalism is Godly. Socialism is crypto Communism, and Communism is a bankrupt ideology of destruction and self sacrifice, wherein eveyone must always sacrifice themselves for someone else's benefit until everyone has sacrificed everything, and everything has been destroyed. That is why Communism, like other ideals of progressivism, is Satanic. It ultimately only destroys everything God has made, because it functions only by destruction, not by construction, it is only achieved through deconstructing societies, cultures, psychological paradigms, etc. That is why the CCP tried to delete the culture of China during the great leap forward, this happens in every instance of Communism. Death and destruction. Under the guise of helping your fellow man.
