because OG id.
basically this retrieves data/real world events stored on the blockchain and uses it as a proof to then trigger an event in the "real world" via apps or actually potentially device mechanisms.
example:
rice producer factory in china and plastic bag producer in your moms house.
The conveyor belt is constantly moving rice and it at the end of the conveyor the rice falls unto a scale. everytime the scale hits 50kg. the platforms falls through and the rice falls into a plastic bag and moved further down another conveyor into its rightful place in storage. Everytime the conveyor falls through, lets say multiple chainlink tokens relay that information to a smart contract that then pays out 2 yuan to the farmer. from here parsiq has been sifting the whole time through the specific blockchain where this contract is stored and manages to parse this event. it drags this utilizes this data to then send a smart trigger finger to the device at your moms house that produces the plastic bag. thus we have a seamless worldwide contract network bridging the real world into the blockchain for payments triggers/ data storage and bridging the now confirmed by blockchain events back to real world ( this sequence could be looped into multiple payment outputs/device triggers. essentially the ying to the yang of chainlink the only thing is that it is in infancy and there is a whole lot more ahead of parsiq to prove itself than chainlink. whereas with chainlink even in the beginning we knew about the breadcrumbs and conspiracies with parsiq we are potentially at the doorstep of a 1,2 year long global recession and no elite jew connections/strings.

Here is Anatoly discussing PRQBoost:
Our ParsiqRewarder smart contract has three main functions:

* newEpoch
* airdrop
* claim

newEpoch function can be called only by us, when we call it we provide three values, one of which is a new price per block. When we call it - ParsiqRewarder automaticaly calculates how many blocks are passed since last call to the newEpoch, multiplies it by the old price per block AND LOCKS appropriate amount of tokens taken from us. This is our confirmation of a new price and all our outstanding payments. Yet newEpoch does not produce any airdrops. It simply ensures and guarantees that all amounts from previous epochs are claimable and are properly backed by tokens locked on a smart contract.

After tokens has been locked on a smart contract there are two ways how to deliver them to their real owners. Either via “airdrop” functionality where we are paying for gas, or via individual “claim” where user pays for gas.

So basically we can even not to airdrop the rewards. Just call a “newEpoch”, let’s say every day, and the contract will accumulate claimable tokens. That everybody could claim at any moment they want.

The trickiest part is a calculation of rewards. We can’t do it inside a smart contract, because we need to react to every block and split a reward among a hundreds of users (it’s unsanely costly to do it in SC). So we do it in our database in a centralized way... YET (!) we calculate a special cryptograhic value, that looks like a hash, and represents a root of the Merkle Tree, where each leaf is a record that acknoleges a total earned amount of each user. Merkle Tree is an amazing data structure that allows you to archive a tons of information into one single value called “root”, and then ask later whether the given information was included into that “root”. The cost is that for every value included into merkle root you need to present a short additional data, called a “Merkle Proof”.

This,

I think the the service is definitely useful but I asked the team and they basically run their trigger processor on a (centralized) service provider. They are open to decentralize their architecture in the future 'if they see value into it'. I basically see this project as a nice MVP until tehy decide to decentralize it. I don't understand why the team is not already moving towards it, this lack of vision makes me doubt the whole project. I hope to do 2x,3x on my tokens. I'd hope for a lot more if they roadmap was better thought trough.. Thoughts?

I'm holding both.

I don't know much about Chainlink but from what I understand is that it would be monitoring APIs that are off chain, parse the information and trigger an event on chain. This is the opposite direction of what I described.

Can't see why they wouldn't feed into each other.

As far as the partnership with Chainlink then yes.

I'd imagine they will provide a similar service to other Oracle providers.

The majority of the use cases I see are for stand alone applications such as exchanges requiring blockchain data to be parsed to execute specific functionality.

Once crypto starts being adopted more then I see non blockchain companies wanting to use this sort of thing.
