To strike at the heart of capitalist society you must attack the small business owners, and all other business alike. The system only works when private property is being protected by laws and people are obeying those laws. When people start destroying private property that's a big step in the system coming down. Making landlords their punching bag, changing public opinion on them, and generally making them hated is part of their goals whether they realize it or not.
