get some credit cards and either buy bubble gum every month on them, or just auto pay the monthly fee. That'll build your credit quickly. I'm at 738 right now, poised to go above 740 (very good) in 2 months.

I have 2 credit cards and an amazon store card. get a new credit card every 90 days and you'll go up 15 points every 90 days, and only go down 5 per new credit card. The effect compounds and your score keeps going up exponentially

A credit score is not about how good you are with money, its about how much of an asset you will be to the lender if they give you a loan.

I'm not 100% sure. My score went past 800 for the first time when I paid off $180k student loans in 2 years. The hard inquiries from new credit cards hurt my score, but then it improves in a month or two. My score's been fluctuating between 770 and 810 for 2 years.

Of course you do.
Here in France, there is no credit score.
But by default all credits have a penality by rising the interest or having to pay a fee on early downpayement (total or partial).
As said py other anons if you pay early, they don't get their cut.
You can negociate the loan's term and ask for no fees, bit you will have to be good at negociations.
It's a really fucked up system.
