Since no ones going to answer, there was a man I worked with at a factory doing machining work. It was incredibly depressing. Me being in my 20's and him being in his early 60's we got along really well. He was highly intelligent, not a normie, but not quite one of us. Got along with other people well but you could just tell something was kind of off. It was as if he spent his entire life living for his job and that's all he knew, I don't think he ever had a girlfriend before. The sad part is I imagine he'd easily be able to have gotten one in his youth given his build and looks but he never tried, he once told me about a single girl at an old job he wanted to date but when I asked what happened he just shook his head in silence, he didn't even take the risk to try. On our weekends and days off he said he would look at the lake in his backyard from his patio, or do some house repair work.
