It is possible to put it in Balancer. You can create a private pool that only the creator can access but obviously the problem is only the creator can access it. They might be trying to come up with a contract that can be the pool creator and will have safety measures where it won't perform anything that will fuck up the pool.

That's actually a great idea. I had the thought of private pools in the past but didn't really think it through all the way partly because I wasn't sure how the private pools work.
