Yes, you will eventually wipe enough accounts clean that you start looking at it differently. It's extremely typical for beginners that doesn't have any past experience with trading/investing, personally took me like a year before my brain finally understood that it was retarded. It was extra frustrating for me since I was "trained"(guided) by a guy to be a price action trader, and since he's already retired (but still trades because he loves it) he tends to be WAY more conservative when it comes to entries, so I developed that behaviour from him which ended up screwing me while being new to trading. For example, I could wait for days/weeks for one single entry and when price finally tanked to my entry I didn't get filled and was left behind, it made me frustrated which then led to me FOMOing in, but since I had learned risk management and shit I ended up getting stopped out over and over again because of my bad frustrated placed entries.
Sounds fucking retarded in hindsight.. but that's just the beginner brain for you. People like you that gets emotional for missing a pump and dump or whatever should probably just force yourself to change the chart instead of sitting there looking at it, it won't take a year for you

I'll look into all their financials and such, but was wondering if I should focus on a particular one first. Also, do you not have an opinion on tilray or aurora? I smoked years ago and don't anymore, but those are 2 companies I can think of when I think of weed.

APHA's price action is so damn disappointing though
just noticed it didnt even moon today, and this isn't the first time i've seen it stay flat despite good news in the past

with weed stocks, you aren't trading with fundamentals, you need to find the shit with the most hype or most squeeze potential (TLRY was the best in 2018, ACB just had a squeeze this week too)
If you're actually looking at the fundamentals, you'll see that all these shit cannot turn a profit most of the time or some are already grossly overvalued at 10x of their revenues despite shitty margins

only risk what you can afford to lose, and afaik, US isn't even legalizing, they're just decriminalizing for more voters

Neither of those company are currently in the American Market; I heavily favour American companies, and the ones I "shill" are the titans of the AmeriCannabis market. there are plenty of other stocks that will grow like HRVSF or FLOOF, but I know that titans will grow to 50 dollars at least.

Tilray does have an agreement sent up with BUD making non-alcoholic THC beverages. 100$M is in the RnD. I have been thinking about long terming that stock.

ACB crashed because the VP was embezzling money. Faith was lost and restructuring in management began. ACB also failed because there wasn't distribution; Improper distribution chain is solved in the states through mandatory Vertically Integrated "Seed to Sale" laws.

I'm not doing stupid like going all in or something, but I don't mind throwing 1% or 2% of my portfolio at them since the US is slowly decriminalizing. If only GME could squeeze like ACB. These people are talking about the contract and they barely even know anything about it. First of all, its not just Ford; its a partnership between Ford and Oshkosh. Oshkosh is customizing Ford vans to suit the USPS' needs. Secondly it has been mentioned multiple times that the contract can be split between multiple winners. There's much more to this including Democrat support for electric trucks and USPS conducting studies on charging station installation etc etc.

Get out of the market lads. I am not saying short, but take a pause for a while. Trump wont concede which will result in an elite election process where popular vote and electoral have no say in the outcome of the election. The reason why this is never abused is because its a norm to concede once a loss is obvious, but Trump wont do this because he is not normal and neither are our times. Once the market realizes that Trump can essentially appoint himself as president albeit at potentially catastrophic social consequences it will tank. At this point, the market is pricing a Biden victory because yes, there is no way Trump can win the vote. But the vote dont matter. The longer Trump does not concede the sooner we will have a major slew. The voting "fruad" narrative that is being displayed now, real or not, is just a smokescreen to shift focus away from this insane loophole in the American constitution that little know about.

all it has to do is get back to turning a profit
it already makes like 6 billion revenues and is only valued at around 0.15x revenues, was at 0.05x of revenues even before corona because of all the negative sentiment and short selling pressure

but if you do your research you'll realize they survived to the start of a console cycle with a good balance sheet and gross margins on their revenues were maintained even as dropped from ~8 billion in previous years
but like 6 billion is still pretty respectable for its market cap, never mind that ~20% of that is higher margin e-commerce revenue, and that a good chunk later on with be 100% profit margin from MSFT

the fact that it's a value pick on top of the short squeeze potential makes it so damn lucrative. Just don't be baited into thinking it'll have an infinite squeeze like KODK just because it's >100% (maybe more like ACB's squeeze this week because GME short sellers are institutional with large collateral). Take profits and buy back in on the next squeeze pump and dump

in reality, the chances of an infinite squeeze will only be more likely once the short interest of outstanding dips to like 50%. Real short of float will be closer to >100% at that point paradoxically enough, just because of how shorted shares add to the "amount" of shares being passed around

Taking a break this weekend. Mods said they will delete and ban SMG threads this weekend.

i did that. got more than a dozens of stocks
nicely balanced 0% return

idk in those times diversification seems to be dead

just buy retard portfolios like TSLA AAPL or GME AMZN and get rich

solid stable companies are seen as boring and get dumped

will sell all my boomer stocks and go all in FAGMAN and hype stocks, only way to make money in this market

then again those are my results for half a year only so maybe i should wait longer first

just pick the one or two you think is the best
there's no point diversifying if you think they're all safe

>didn't know stonks only traded on weekdays
>wanted to sell
This is entirely my fault and potentially going to be an expensive lesson to learn. At least i didn't bet to hard though. Here's hoping election angst doesn't crash it come monday.

if you're not already in NIO, you're too late and the downside potential is too big for you
valued at 50x of revenues kek what the fuck

i think the only thing that may still be early there is PLTR and GME. GME for sure with the way it bottomed out this week

i feel like this will change fast as soon as a vaccine is announced, and we have no idea when that will be. there are some sectors i'm definetely not buying into (banks, commercial real estate) but for example, the big oil companies are so cheap. the biggest ones will just transition into renewables too. it seems a no brainer, but obviously i'm not smarter than the market

half a year is not a long time, and this has been an unprecedented half year. i want to hold long so that's ok. also, tech stocks are not good for dividends

despite what i said about banks, i AM thinking about companies like HSBC and AMEX

Dividends are a joke. Buy strong tech companies and just write far OTM calls on them. An easy 5% "dividend" on Amazon, thanks.

yeah, of course i also hold XOM and in a year they should turn

of course XOM also is the one big oil company that refuses to go renewable but i figure it still will be fine

at some point value and industrials will come back, i think so too
