Any giga brain sterling silver frens here?

I bought a lot of 190 grams of jewelry for $80. Mostly necklaces and loose charms and few tiny stones. How can I test if its real?

I have about 50 ounces of sterling cups, spoons etc and my small neodymium magnet doesnt stick to them but does have a small noticeable pull and rolls slower than normal off the bowls and cups. I tied it to a string and the magnet swings around but stops faster when hovering over the sterling. I tried this with the jewelry lot and I get no reactions from most of the stuff, despite it all being marked 925 or sterling. The clasps on the necklaces stick, chains dont, one does though. Its not a hard stick though. The larger pieces has a reaction like the bowls and cups I have. Like a bracelet and heavy chain I have.

So what gives? I looked online and I guess some sterling chains earrings etc do react to magnets but some dont. Some are 92.5% silver mixed with copper which isnt reactive but some pieces can be mixed with something other than copper which can react. Maybe the pieces are not big enough, or my magnet is too small? I dont want to buy a sigma. I would rather spend the $700 on more silver.

Should I try ice on one end and see how fast it gets cold on the other end? Is it even worth doing an acid test?

Depends on the miner I think? Aurcana in specific is pretty much following silver very closely, compare the charts. Maybe a day off, maybe two minutes, hell if I know. Each mining company has their own circumstances that affect the market value of their share of course so it's up to the investor to decide whether the shares are worth the price, risks and all included

man... I just cannot tell you... at this point I doubt it, its share price hasnt risen like this due to the price of silver rising (although that hasnt hurt) its because they are now much MUCH less risky, and barring some sort of catastrophe will be a mini first majestic soon.

Believe me, I was tempted to take some profit and run on them too, wait for a correction/dip to rebuy back in... but i doubt they will go too far down unless something major happens.

I always think local shops will not pay cash for the items they've already sold.
I treat any silver bought from a shop as either straight trade in collapse or to other surrounding shops.

There will be a point when local shops close their doors & no longer do business. By then the shops owners and staffs will have had sold what they could to brokers on a high for hard assets all the while perhaps being turned into the new nobility.

Something to keep in mind when buying silver.
If possible its ok to buy new & hope to sell to the industrial buyers.

One thought I had (and I've mentioned it before) is we could see a rocky 4 years or at least 2) under a Biden watch. Trump knows his Twitter account controls the stock market, and if he doesn't pull off the hail mary (I'm hoping he does win for reasons other than the economy) you better believe he's handing the kid sniffer a ticking time bomb of an economy. I went to college for chemistry. Got my BsC in '16 and currently getting my MsC. In the interim I was deemed "too valuable" for entry level positions due to my extensive research experience. So, I had been making necklaces since I was a child (tying leather together with beads on it), I applied a Jared's/Zales/Kay's/Gordon's (it's all the same damn company, (((Signet Jewelers))) out of Ohio), and they hired me as an apprentice. Stayed there for a year and a half before quitting as the boss never sent me off to be certified, even though I was making rings for an ex and doing necklace repair for a friend in my off time.

tl;dr applied at a jewelry store and became an apprentice. Boss never promoted me so I quit. Still dabble. Purely recommend just buying some scrap brass from Hobby lobby and burn yourself a few times figuring out soldering on a very small scale. His calls for 100$ silver may seem outlandish but inflation adjusted it's technically conservative. He's not just a pumper though and backs up the talk by doing shit like refusing to sell under $18 this year. That was a ballsy ass move that payed off huge for his company.

What seperates keith compared to other CEOs is he actually sought out silver as the commodity whose thesis he was most bullish on and started a silver miner because of his thesis. Before he was a copper CEO in First Quantum.

The economy died in 2008 and weve just been keeping it on life support since then. I think we will see another stock boom in the short term but the crash will happen after january and is unavoidable. Well I am able to put 500-750€ into miners every month myself. I plan to sell the bad investments if they ever go back green, and I will probably have at least 10 different serious investments, of which some will be speculative and others core positions.
>Was thinking about removing strikepoint and aurcana

>I feel cucked by adding small amount everywhere.
Sure I can see why you'd reason that way. I personally want to allocate risk because miners are inherently so risky, with risks arising from jurisdiction, permitting, geology and the mining itself along with many other ways things could go bad. Part of the reason why due diligence is so important is that everybody can evaluate for themselves whether they think a company's story is worth more than their market value. It's the reason why I've a few thousand shares of MTH, because if it blows up I'll have a nice position in advance. And if commodities begin a bull run it doesn't really matter that much which miners you have (as long as they've got their shit together unlike BHS for example -- fucking hell get your production in order Greame). I'm in it for the long run and I'm willing to wait for years to get return for my investment.

in the medium-long term it is literally irrelevant who the president is. I do believe, however, that this will go to the supreme court and as unlikely as this seems now, i think trump will remain in office for another term. It is clear to anyone who's judgement is not blinded by pathetic emotional obligations that there are severe discrepancies in the US voting system, with particular regards to this current election. When this is revealed, markets will retrace any gains they had made and maybe even dip below them - but this will be the last dip before the next major run up on PM's and other alternatives. The true bull run can begin when trump remains in office and people realise that you could have jesus christ himself in the white house and our economies will still be collapsing.

Whats your take on the upcoming devaluation of the dollar, and the massive stimulus packages? Are we looking or are we looking good?

I'm talking about next week exclusively. Long-term bearish on dollar, bullish on physical. Stocks may keep their market value but of course I plan to take profits at some point and turn them into physical possessions (pm's & some stuff that keeps its value)

Yes. American Dollar is about to nose dive off a cliff like it did back in 2008 when Obama was elected, but by power this time. Gold is going much, much higher, and Silver is going to rip people's faces off.

Republicans won't be able to stop it, and while I think COVID stimulus may be necessary, the Democratic Socialists are going to push Joe Biden around to get their agenda/free stuff done especially with Kamela as VP. That is going to be way more devaluation than whatever COVID stimulus passes. It's going to be pretty bullish on PMs, crypto and hard assets.

I am still calm, but I think they are trying to set the narrative because ... fuck what is that called when you believe the lie first and then won't believe the truth after no matter how much evidence is given to you because you already believed the lie, it isn't cognitive dissonance but a different word. It seems funny because last nite all the pol shills were gone , it seems like they regrouped and are trying a different angle and just outright saying it is over.
