biz is only interest in heavily shilled scams, if it doesn't take out half the catalog they don't care

but they will care when it hits 50 cents which is when I'll be dumping on their faces. It's happened before and it will happen again

Not a real crypto, like XRP. Patents and councils. No thanks.

chainlink has patents as well and they get to decide who runs oracle nodes

>> No.23761659

>>23761496
No alternative to it at the moment, if there was one without those things (and similar functionality) I'd go with that. Chainlink is also mostly used at some point in time for a contract after which it is settled. Would you use XRP, or wBTC?

>> No.23761739

>>23761659
I'd go with wBTC, I don't like XRP, it doesn't offer anything other than being a currency

hedera also has plans to go fully decentralized
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTNNYeSks-s
if they dump too many coins the network can be attacked

I'd assume the patents are there to prevent chinks from stealing the hashgraph algorithm

>> No.23761763

meh, doesn't look like bottom, needs to be around half this price

>> No.23761790

>>23761739
Do they plan to decentralize the patents? If it can't be freely forked it can't be decentralized. While unrelated, Baird also rubs me the wrong way and the way this thing was introduced with the distribution and council of companies left a sour taste. I hope you make some cash on it but it's not for me. I don't think it has the spirit of crypto.

totally understand, I'm not a fan of big council coins either but the reason for it is they are going hard after entreprise use. When companies see a fast and cheap blockchain with reputable names running nodes they might be more interested in running a dapp on it. Not really crypto for sure but a more tempting starting point for these companies.

I still get enough of a "small start-up" vibe from them after watching so many videos though. Nevertheless I still have bags of other smaller coins that are more in the spirit of crypto

From this angle I get it, seeing it more as a traditional tech investment, but I don't know enough about potential use cases to say. My next post was going to be "do you know anyone who is excited about this?" which doesn't really matter in enterprise adoption context. What does it offer over EE, R3 or Hyperledger for federated use etc?

Tech is def interesting, I checked it out a long time ago and was super bummed it was patented. Got any good intro videos from the business angle (not consensus more how they are angling for enterprise adoption, what market etc)?
