I don't think you understand how pressure works. If you punch a thumb sized hole in a spacecraft, it isn't an "explosive decompression" like you see in movies. It's like a pin sized hole in a tire. I agree, though, that QQQ isn't a very solid index, and TQQQ would have wiped back in the Dot-Com bubble crash in the early '00s. Nowadays we have circuit breakers, so a 3x ETF that tracks a more robust index like S&P500 would be great too. Not amazing like TQQQ, but good enough to exponentiate your investment in 10 years. Backtest 55% UPRO / 45% TMF with quarterly balancing to see what I mean.
