What bets have we made on the election? Who do we think is going to win? Are there any safe calls we can make?

Pic related is my only position at the moment.

I bet that Trump would win the pop vote by 3-4.5%. Get a cool 20k after taxes and fees. If things look like he isn't at 7% when Texas numbers come in I'll probably sell at a gain and leave someone holding the bag- California numbers come in at 1-3 AM my time and they'll be hard blue which will fuck up his pop vote spread like in 2016 when he was leading by 1% until Cali came in and knocked him down to minus 1.6%.

Since 2008 the Democrats have constantly lost registrations in that state and only won by 17k there. If you think Biden will somehow outperform Obama when literally none of the official state registration data reflects this then you are retarded. Not many good Biden bets, all are basically Trump.

I can see this being a massive scam, there's no way a betting agency would remain solvent if they're just handing out 3000 dollar airdrops to winners like that.

You make money if you're not a retard who 'marries' their bets or gets greedy. The optimal strategy is safe bets like a 2x, then if you want more on predictit you make sure you have an exit strategy to sell before things go south and you can walk away with 5000 instead of 0. Ironically gambling is safer than crypto if you're not being a retard.

>> No.23673450

>>23673400
bovada.lv does the same "rewards", except when you claim the rewards prize with fiat, it translates to site bonus awards, aka funny money. When you hit a certain amount of $$ I think you can cash back out again. It's a giant scam and a joke, NEVER USE site rewards for betting

>> No.23673635

>>23671926
>why

If you look at websites like predictit, the liberals on there pump biden harder when the polls get better for Trump. I assume they think if they bet on biden they can somehow meme him into the presidency, there are also retarded people who throw huge amounts of money into things they don't understand thinking that making 50% on Biden winning is a 'good' payout and will be sorely upset on the 4th.

In general the reason people lose money on the market/gambling/crypto is because most money is dumb money. Even smart money can't be 100% right 100% of the time and when most people are just throwing around their life savings on a whim you start to understand why everyone is so fucking broke.
