We all know BTC/ETH/LINK is the GMIfolio but how do you balance it? 3/2/2 here

>> No.23513705

>>23513696

BTC will get you 10x
ETH will get you 50x
Link will get you 100x

Balance based on your risk tolerance

What I dont get is why Ethereum still dominates the market and there is so much being built/already built upon it if there are faster and cheaper options around. My knowledge on the subject is limited, but wouldnt Cardano and Algorand be better? If so, why arent they used?

>> No.23514367

It's the network effect, so many people already using eth, so it's hard to move to a new platform, that being said it will happen eventually, a decent example would be that myspace was once the largest social network and was thought nothing else would come close, obviously other better options came along.

>>23514156
I don't believe that you have done any staking or participated in any test net what so ever, but that is beside the point. Eth will have staking soon. So what? any fix to the massive problems eth is facing is 2-4 years away at the earliest. The solution that gets touted around (eth 2.0) exists in name only and there is no real evidence that would suggest it's coming at all, let alone in 2-4 years. By the time an update comes, users will have gotten tired of paying for failed transactions and gas fees in the triple digits and move onto other better options. Assuming there is a massive bull run like what's being predicted, eth isn't going to be able to handle it, it couldn't even handle the tiny defi run this summer.

I dont know anon, just stack everything in the gmifolio. Beats not being able to stake on your own with your own keys. APY allegedly 20-30% first year or so decreasing as people begin to stake more. Initally there wont be a lot of stakers because eth1->2 is a one way bridge. If you dont need to sell and are willing to risk it, go for it.
