Name another crypto where the usecases have a higher revenue than it's market cap.

By the way, if these numbers are close to correct AND 16k-20k customers are actually securing 20% APY for stakers at the moment.

This should mean, that in April 2021 we will AT LEAST have double the price at 20% APY or the same price, but double the APY, which would be completely insane (if the staked tokens remain about the same % of course).

The genesis phase has been active since March.
Where do you think all those staking rewards came from without the mainnet being active?
So the fact that there's enough demand to secure 20% APY doesnt give any information about how many households there are since we don't know how many transactions are occurring per household.

There are massive amounts of transactions that are rising rapidly and pay a fee to stakers.

Yes but going by 10k in July and the table I replied to in my last post, we can estimate something around 20k.

The amount of trx per household is not very important, if we know:

1. That 20k households (if that's the correct number) are securing 20% according to Richard. Since he said the Genesis Phase is not really needed anymore.

2. Households are increasing and the trx per household remains stable.

Thus APY should roughly increase at the same rate as the households (only considering energy usecase again), IF the price does not move.

Not sure we are disagreeing to be honest, just getting my thoughts out there after a coffee binge.

Added on to this, they're expecting to reach 235k households by end of 2022, so 2 years time valuation at current price would be 10x current whilst still getting 20% APY, or more likely x20 current price and settled at 10% APY.

Again, only using this one usecase and same % of staked tokens which both are highly likely to reflect a higher price/APY in reality when more uses get added! Literally the comfiest hold at 50k rn

>> No.23503439

>>23502926
I mean in one sense I can understand saying there isn't pump potential, but that's because it's structured as a steady grower, like a stock.

Your returns increase as the business/usecases grow, but the price will pump on the announcement of big usecases as that means a high staking reward. If they meet their target of x10 households in just 2 years that's x10 in value, whilst anything past that is speculation or additions to usecases.

It's the most solid investment you can make in the market right now, and seeing as a 20% APY is pretty high I can see the token price going x4 current rate as 5% is still ok returns and that's relying on a massive 50% of tokens being staked which will go down as more usecases are applied. Slow burn, invest, never selling, GMI.

>> No.23503916

>>23503439
Well it's true there isn't pump potential because you can basically make these calculations that you just did and if the market is composed of intelligent people they will usually determine a quite similar answer as you do.

However, the market is not always composed by intelligent people and during a hype a lot of dumb money can push the price quite a bit higher although I do think that anything below an APY of 2% will be though for even the dumbest of the dumb to buy, but I am prepared to let myself be amazed.

However, now we're basically just waiting for market realization to set in and while we are waiting the underlying usecase continues to expand with probably around 15% per month if all is going well. So yes we should see the price not only rise with 15% per month but outperform this as the market comes closer to it's senses and perhaps after a couple of weeks of significant outperformance word will start to spread like a wildfire and we may experience a short period of overvaluation. Followed by a way smaller dump to correct valuation or slight undervaluation.

>Because one is a rebel means he is smart

Are you a flat earther?
Part of the #resist army?
You actually sound like a simple follower and not a leader of things.

Yeah but his question is more regarding that the usecase managed to stay running before the mainnet launched so why have a blockchain at all?
Why not run it on private servers?

People skeptical about Lition are the same type of retards who invest in retard PND schemes and try to shill it on their egg profile pic Twitter accounts. They have been duped so many times seeing an actual real project for the first time is incomprehensible to them.

You can have digital money without blockchain, you can have automated systems without smart contracts, you can orcales without a blockchain etc. Just because it technically works doesn't mean it's optimal for specific jobs. Why do you need cars when you have a horse and cart? Why do you need planes when you already have trains? You seem to be ignorant of the benefits of blockchain in general than you are ignorant of Lition.

How does the revenue affect market cap?

>> No.23513812

>>23513393
The higher revenue indicates more customers, more customers means more transactions, more transactions means higher staking rewards, higher staking rewards means more people will be buying in the run a node and secure the network. Also just in general if the business is thriving then it's better for the project.
