Bitcoin halved in May. Mining tokens on the proof of work blockchain is now twice as difficult.

Last time this happened was in 2017. Crypto boomers have come back to this site knowing this year is the golden run of crypto. Invest in Bitcoin.

by golly, you're right

Sorry, this happened in 2016.

It takes a second for the halfing to have a price impact. This is huge for crypto. Sell pressure is minimized and buy pressure is increased.

I don’t think so. More people are aware of Bitcoin now. ATH should come quickly.

Daily reminders:

- Come December (assuming that total crypto market cap is about where it is today), crypto will have failed to advance for 3 years. There is not a single one of you who were around during 2017 FOMOmania who would have thought that BTC would still be at $13K at the end of 2020.

- The crypto market, particularly Bitcoin, is entirely different now. It is infested with leverage, derivatives, shorting, and institutional manipulation, and thus, will never moon again the way that it once did.

- The PayPal news is now fully priced in. In fact, it's over-priced in, and will dump back to $11K or lower shortly as everybody realizes that there are no more greater fools to buy the news.

- Crypto will do nothing from now on but spike, dump, and crab in a range. The Golden Bull Run was 2016/2017, and it's never coming back.

I disagree. I don’t think Bitcoin will moon like before. It’s no longer capable of doing those numbers; however, it’s not a senseless investment.

Just due to the halfing alone it’s a pretty secure investment and will go up further than previous graph trends directly suggest. Still, I’m planning to flip it for some alts when all the excitement dies down.

I’m very far from a maxi and didn’t touch Bitcoin for 3 years.

Doesn't matter. As always, shitcoins outperform, if you're not a brainlet.

Not during a halfing year. Yes, 2018 it was better to invest in something else. Yes, 2019 it was better to invest in something else. 2020, Bitcoin is a good investment again. It has a strong tendency to pump around Halloween.

It’s only up 60% comparatively to Chainlink 360%, but as the halfing occurs upward price pressure is inevitable. Most of the wealth from this will trickle into other coins subsequent.

we'll hit 20k this dec, slow rise to 40k first half of 2021. dip to 32k, then boom to 190k by mid 2022

>> No.23456589

>>23456547
Complete fantasy. It didn’t take this long for it to boom when people didn’t know what Bitcoin is. BTC will probably hit an ATH in December or so and then be primed to flip for alties.

>The Golden Bull Run was 2016/2017, and it's never coming back
this hurt to read. i've been using bitcoin to buy drugs since 2015, i was aware of the bull run at that time, but i only recently started investing in crypto
