Common reasoning behind bear market starting up is that elections will throw the markets into chaos. The winner will almost certainly be heavily contested regardless of who it is. If Biden wins, the markets probably bear the fuck down for months (but I have faith they'll eventually recover). If Trump wins they'll probably crab hard with OOOOOOOOOs and AAAAAAAAAAAAs all day for a while until the dems stop crying.

Either way, I don't think we're seeing a stimulus any time soon, even after elections. So I think anon is right desu, we're getting into a bear market that will last until the elections are truly done but I don't think it's a bad idea to be buying now for the rebound. Just make sure you're averaging in rather than dumping all your funds now. Keep some powder in reserve for good deals.
