I love you anon.

my WFH is holding LOKI until the nuclear winter comes.

Why is this so comfy.

WFH has made me realise how much time I used to waste each day. 2 hrs total commuting each day, many hours of sitting around time wasting, talking etc.
I do around 2-3 hrs of real work each day, despite being a full time worker. Now I can just do it all at once, be done by noon and have the rest of the day off, this is amazing

Based and same. Realised most of my time was spent making small talk with office cucks and having boring lunch table discussions.

Now I have a lot of time to pursue my own hobbies and interests and make more money on the side.

Why don't you just abbreviate the entire post? I think we'll get it, having seen it every day now for the past 7 or 8 months

>> No.23440163

>>23439964
Yes.
The problem though is that you can't stack 2 full-time jobs even though they only take 2-3 hours of work per day. If meetings overlap you get fucked in the ass.
I'm thinking starting a consultancy is the way.

Does anyone else have weekly meetings where no relevant information is shared and everyone has to talk about their week? Sometimes I wonder if it is just to give managers something to do since any time there is relevant info it could be summed up in a quick e-mail.

most companies I know, mine included, have no desire to go back and rent offices when we have put WFH procedures in place and are running smoothly for 7 months.
Why pay extortionate office rents for no reason?

Where fellow my mechanical engineer slaves at?
Trying to network with my software/IT friends and get the fuck out of this meme career. Anyone here have advice for getting entry level positions in finance or IT or software? I don’t have any work experience in those fields but I’m willing to take a temporary pay cut to get my foot in the door. I’m embarrassed when people think I make a lot cause im an engineer. I work in manufacturing and have a dog shit salary and it’s literally impossible for me to wfh

It’s miserable work. Stubborn boomers, days of autocad slaving, concrete pay ceiling. At least IT and software positions have consulting career paths. Engineering consulting does not pay anywhere near as much and you need a masters or higher usually to get there.
