learn TA, read economics books, keep an eye on the news, backtest ur TA skills on stock charts. Never buy anything shilled here if ur not gonna swing. Study for a year or so, you can transfer your money into ETH or BTC for now

If you will start trading right away, you will lose a lot. Remember that it is a long play and if you were lucky to have some good trades in the beginning doesn`t mean it is easy. At some point during your studying year you may want to start trading, go with >500$. 200$ for forex. Dont use leverage in crypto more than 3x. Dont trade futures. GL fren hope you didn`t read it and will buy into some ponzi to waste ur 10k and then call all this a scam and be a wagie for the rest of ur life

I would hold your cash a little longer, at least until right around the post election dip. Buy the dip, but in the meantime learn some shit about stonks. Options are essentially the right to buy/sell a particular stock at a particular price, you can sell or buy that right. It can be more or less risky depending on how you go about it.
An example
>Stock is at 10 buckaroos
>you have 100 shares as neccessary for collateral
>I dont reasonably think this stock is going to break 12 by Friday
>sell that call option (sell the right to buy)
>collect the Premium
>pray to the lord it doesnt break 12 or you would have missed out on some gains

what is ta? and do you have any particular economics books you would suggest? and regarding transfering the money into eth and btc, how safe is that compared to just having it in the bank? i know nothing about cryptocurrency, it all seems kinda sketchy to me. thanks for all the advice fren
>>23435061
wow, that seems more complicated than i thought. any advice where i can go to learn more about options? is it true that they are basically just gambling, with super high risk and potential high reward?

they all just invest in gambling cryptos and i personally wouldnt be comfortable at all putting 100% of my money in there even the pros lose money.

apple amzn and msft stocks just steady up go up every year and theyre definitely going to crash into the ground any time soon. they just got down crashing really bad too so its a good time. just pick top tech stocks and watch them and as soon as you see a big dip throw a chunk of money into it. very good chance of doubling after a year just dont look at it you dont need to

What you have to do is gamble all your money on a shitcoin and hope you are part of the lucky few who don't go broke / find the next Chainlink.

the economy is always at the top, that's no reason not to buy.
if you look historically then buying at ATH is a good idea because you are in a positive trend that's likely to continue. this is not what you'd expect but it's true nontheless.

yes, S&P 500 is expensive but if you look at interest rates then it doesn't look expensive anymore.

I can get 8% per year from telecomm companies or banks, meanwhile I get 1% from Bonds.
This is the benchmark, if you can get 5% from bonds then I wouldn't buy stocks at this level but if you get 1% from bonds then stocks is incredibly cheap.

it's not just expensive but inflated with buybacks (they used to be illegal) and such price increases happen right before shit hits the fan and you get shit when it dumps and it will dump

Wait until eoy of second wave of covid (eoy) and then invest in stocks of industries which had been hit most by covid (oil, tourism, cruiselines, air travel). Should net you a x2-3 over the next two years.
My bets are: BP, Shell, airbus, tui, carnival.
For crypto, IOTA is a relatively safe bet for a 2-3 over the next 12 months.
