Indeed you seem to understand, that's exactly how it works. Have you considered buying into privacy coins? XMR & XHV.

You won't see Venezuela level of inflation, but money will come with strings attached. For example, money that expires in 30 days. Or just negative interest rates. UBI will become very common.
