I take the first option. My published strategy is to use futures and options to cushion the highs and lows of general market noise and promise a return of around 20% per year. I'm going to just buy LEAP calls on NIO. There is NO reason at all that this shit won't keep going up. They keep growing their production numbers, they keep getting more attention by the wider market, and the moment they turn a profit, break into other markets, etc they're going to rocket up further.
I'm going to get Jan 2022 40c calls and just hold them until expiry. By then I wouldn't doubt it if NIO had reached 200 or more. I"m just going to keep averaging into those calls, and if NIO goes up, I'm going to buy more LEAPs with higher strikes and further out.
