There was another thread about this but I couldn't find it. We were just getting started talking about arbitrum vs other L2 solutions.

Someone said
>Muh EVM compatibility!

But isn't xDAI EVM compatible too?
So what's so special about arbitrum?

It's a fucking TESTNET how the fuck you expect this could make an increase in price? My god what a bunch of retards. And remember, testnets use to be LONG TERM tests. Don't expect arbitrum mainnet this year.

Yeah I saw that presentation live.
But I've also used honeyswap (uniswap clone on xdai) and it does pretty much exactly what arbitrum claims to do as well.

Yeah imagine how many people were waiting for the Arbitrum testnet to buy LINK. Literally millions.

It's the backend, you maintain the same forward (customer) facing interactions. They don't have to go to some completely different random chinkcoin chain to "clone" what they're going to be doing. It just does it, cheaply and efficiently, without changing anything else.

Beyond that it's literally who vs Chainlink: the oracle and defi industry standard. I wonder what the companies already partnered with and relying solely on CL oracles for their business to function will chose to integrate?

It wont pump on this until Arbitrum is on main net since that will be when nodes are profitable without subsidy from the incentive fund

So for the Anons that are new, Link can and will continue lower as traders start locking in profits for the year, over the long term it's a solid project and will go above 20 per token imo next year but when would be guessing ( if SmartCon becomes a thing buuing/selling around that time will need to be watched to create an accurate model of inflow/outflow)

This is always a giveaway. BS language of people who like to pretend they successfully day trade.
