Ya'll are this retarded? Theoretically, all the USDT is backed by USD, so no actual new currency is being created, hence no inflation. You can exchange your USDT for actual USD at a 1:1 ratio.

In theory.

The state of USDT's backing isn't relevant to the posters question about why USDT doesn't get devalued through inflation.

>> No.23168477

>>23168397
it doesn't get devalued because it's a stable coin
if everybody knew for certain that it isn't backed then it would go to zero
it can't inflate because it isn't a currency on it's own but just a virtual dollar

Tether is literally used as part of the internal accounting system for exchanges, miners, OTC desks, etc. Paolo prints USDT in advance, and when orders come in and the USD deposit lands in the Deltec account he sends them the Tethers they purchased. Tether is also used for cross border settlement by asian SMB's, as well as in the DeFi market.

Crypto is not Forex you mong. Crypto is an illiquid market in a constant search for liquidity to fill orders and the main thing that moves the BTC market is liquidations and stop hunts to fill large orders. Liquidations implies market buys/sells. If you don't understand this you're a fucking spastic that shouldn't be trading. Keep crying 'muh manipulayshun' because you got liquidated going 100x long no stop loss.

You have to be clinically retarded to believe that they would do this whilst under investigation by the US federal government.

Honestly, I sometimes wonder how I have made so much money in this market, and then I come on /biz/ and see the type of people taking the other side of my trades.
