Tether is literally used as part of the internal accounting system for exchanges, miners, OTC desks, etc. Paolo prints USDT in advance, and when orders come in and the USD deposit lands in the Deltec account he sends them the Tethers they purchased. Crypto is an illiquid market in a constant search for liquidity to fill orders and the main thing that moves the BTC market is liquidations and stop hunts to fill large orders. Liquidations implies market buys/sells. If you don't understand this you're a fucking spastic that shouldn't be trading.
