So i started this job, and I know many of you are going to call me retarded and whatever but here’s what happened

Third day on the job, first time being a cashier and customer comes with money. I haven’t held or looked at change in a very long time, and when it came to giving change i froze. I didn’t know what a nickel or dime was in value but i knew what a quarter and penny was thats it. Coworker saw me struggle and whispered something under his breath as It was quite embarrassing for me, I literally didn’t know what to give back for change.

I graduated high school and did decent, in college now and I can handle this advanced math but not something as simple as change.

What can I do to not mess up on this tomorrow?

Use the nice money machine to calculate the numbers for you?

Why can't you just call coins like 10 pence or 20 pence and not fucking nickels and dimes like how much even is that shit.

Break it down so it’s more simple. Get the cash amount first then count the coin seperate. If it’s between 25c and 49c grab one quarter then figure out how much left you need to give the corrrct anmohnt fren. Start with the largest change and work your way down.

Practice. https://mrnussbaum.com/cash-out-online-game

No need to feel ashamed. People have problems doing all kinds of things. I haven't bathed in about 3 months now. I have about 8 different spider webs in my living room. I decided to eat one yesterday.

Dude it's ok to make mistakes.
Do this -
>Try to think about what are your weak parts
>Formulate it into a question
>Open browser
>On incognito
>Open youtube
>Ask question
>Watch some videos on the topic
There problem solved.
The incognito mode is if you look for "how to count change as a cashier" or something, you won't get any more recs in your main youtube account.
