But they just added tpos which we already had forever ago except you can now have it on your ledger and trezor... Which we also could do forever ago.. Err, well like just trezor for now but it's pretty much done on ledger just all that's left is coding it to work on ledger. The team is real busy and getting so much done , glad I bought 21mns. I mean dex is cool and but being able to send it to my ledger or do tpos? I enjoyed those features so much months ago I'm glad they re-released it so I can still do it. Kudos, X9devs. They might be a little slow at times but when they deliver boy do they ever deliver

>> No.23165275

The thing about ledger/trezor. Ledger/trezor did not want to update the code on their end to support it so the stakenet devs had to work around that. Also it took them 2 years to tell the devs that..........

I think that the MCLW will have an option in the future to connect your hardware wallet then you can manage your masternodes through that.

I'm familiar with that part of the story. I'm growing weary of holding this shit so long so I fud it in frustration.
It would be cool to manage mn's through my ledger but I've been thinking about learning to set up my own anyway and will that still work with a ledger? Fuck if I know but mnaas is an even bigger scam that buying xsn was in the first place. Fucking $95/mo seems kind of a steep price to be paying here, and of course the lower xsn goes the more it stings because it is paid in xsn, eroding any possible profits on something that will take 10+ years to pay for itself already. I think they get their price from cmc so that's nice in that livecoin is not included in the price they display. But the other two exchanges have no volume so the chances of them taking payments for mnaas when the price is pumped up fuck huge from a $10 purchase on beaxy is pretty low. Surely I can find a vps for less.

15c per day is $95/mo, retard. Months are comprised of days. Where you get confused is they charge you per mn. It's not all the mn's you can host for a single flat rate. If I can find cheaper elsewhere it will be better. Especially if the price goes up for xsn. Say it's like 0.75-1xsn per day and xsn goes to $1. That's like paying $630/mo. Sure I could just buy $100 worth of xsn/mo +coinbase fees + transfer fees to livecoin +livecoin trading fees to make it up, but I want to get cheaper and if I'm doing extra shit I might as well make things easier instead of doing that every month.

The price will stay the same for hosting fees. XSN could be $10 but fees would still be 15c per day per node.

They've spent 2 years getting BTC on the exchange but they don't realize that one trades with BTC; it's a store of value.

ORN will be first to market a CEX aggregator and RUNE will be the first to market with a cross-chain DEX. Eth scaling solutions will rollout far before XSN release.

This project was great if they just focused on a ETH L2 in 2018 to be first to market. Now they are in last place and will be left behind because they focused on the wrong thing.

>And for the record I don't hold any RUNE so idgaf. This is just facts.

Vortex is just theoretical right now and will take another 2+ years of development given XSN speed. ORN is launching beta within weeks.

I know it is but roll-ups for V1 will be released in just months and will resolve issues until V2

Literally 1 pairing. In test. With 0 liquidity. I don't call this a cross-chain DEX. It's not even an MVP, it's a demo.

>Eth integration and raiden will be out before end of year

Too bad this will be just WETH and will have to manually add every single ERC-20 token manually. This is just like an exchange. I can already use Binance to instantly trade ERC-20 tokens.

The appeal of a DEX is that anyone can list anything and trade whenever. What XSN is doing with Raiden is just what CEXs do but wrapped.

Wrong, vortex has been in use for months. It's still in early stages so it's not in massive use. Have a look at gif related. It shows the aggregator trading on livecoin from the XSN DEX.
>I know it is but roll-ups for V1 will be released in just months and will resolve issues until V2
Not really, Congestion may drops but it will pick back up again. Look at the 2017 bullrun and recently with uniswap.....

Yikes. You have no idea what is coming do you?
>Too bad this will be just WETH and will have to manually add every single ERC-20 token manually.
No it won't just be weth. The devs already have a plan in mind for which tokens they want to start with (hint, big volume tokens).
>This is just like an exchange. I can already use Binance to instantly trade ERC-20
It's not just a DEX, its a multicurrency lightwallet, the DEX is a built in DApp. Your funds aren't safe on binance, they are on stakenet because you control your keys.
>The appeal of a DEX is that anyone can list anything and trade whenever. What XSN is doing with Raiden is just what CEXs do but wrapped.
Completely wrong. XSN doesn't use wrapped tokens. wEth is an exception because Eth doesn't meet it's own standards. However wEth is still secure because it's on it's own chain (eth blockchain).

It should help answer a lot of questions you may have. Otherwise read the whitepaper for or ask in the discord, the team is very friendly and helpful.

Pic related estimates trading fees which will be spilt to masternodes in stage 3 of the dex (hydra)

Also let me tell you something regarding the DEX.
100% of the trading fees will be used to buy XSN at market price
Out of that 100%, 90% will be spilt to all masternodes (in stage 3) and the other 10% will be burnt. Reducing the supply and giving xsn a deflationary mechanic.

I recommend asking the team in the discord about timeline plans, although t may be vague since dev work takes time and can have bugs.

From what I've heard, they have something big planned in November.

>Any automatic market making planned or is it orderbook style?
They have limit orders and market orders right now. However a simple swap feature will be added in the next update 4.0.5

The percentage fees might be lower but don't mn's yield higher rewards with the current see-saw? But you raise a good point. If I tpos for myself I'd only have to bother with one vps instead of multiple, and it would be 0% commission, n and fees are paid in USD. I will give this some serious consideration.
If price goes up so does the opportunity cost of paying xsn as a percentage. Say xsn is $100. If I get 6 xsn/day and they charge me $0.15, so let's say that's 5.9 xsn, that's $590. Hopefully this explains what I mean by XSN going up in price means greater loss in usd value by paying in something now worth $100. It's an obvious concept to me and those are the kind I struggle the most to explain to people who don't get it.
