Holy shit, you XCMtards need marketing like yesterday, kek
If a fucking hack won't get people talking about your exchange then what will?
I've seen various sites report on some of the most literal-who exchanges getting hacked in the past, yet none of them will touch this one and probably never even heard of it, lmao

Only exchange I truly care about is any exchange with LOKI

Think about what I just said.

>Hack was a literal nothingburger
>Getting hands on assistance from Parsiq and Quant directly (probably rollbacks/forks)
>They've been wholly transparent about it
>Client funds are safe

These guys will still be around in 5 years unlike most exchanges. They are unironically going to the moon. Get XCM or stay poor.

agree, bigger exchanges would crumble if the same thing happened to them.

respectfully disagree, sure you and other people who hold xcm need that, but my bags are still not full, every day with a red candle or without biz knowing about it is a good day

yep, I'm sure this wont have an effect on securing further funding...

It wasn't a good thing, not gonna lie. But it wasn't a huge deal, they've learned fro it, fixed the issue and client funds were not in question.

Funding will come 100% when needed, and partly because of how well they handled this.

These guys will easily pass exchanges like Poloniex and Gemini for daily volume with their products and will eventually challenge Coinbase.

XCM will at least be a top 50 coin in market cap (~250mil) and top 20 longer term.

Kevin was online for hours and replied to every question with a voice message on Telegram. Good luck trying to ask CZ or Brian something about internal company happenings like this.

Goddamn some people would lick the shit off Kevin shoe if he so ask it, just because he spent some time replying to question and doing AMA with sub 200 viewers lmao.

Don't get me wrong, I hold a small bag from ICO days but even I'm not THAT delusional.

you talking about putting the fire out. surely the investors will also be interested how the fire got started in the first place and then see the dumb security holes that should have never even been there.

We do need some marketing. It's a great exchange but people just don't know about it.
Although the company just lost 1million worth of coins so i wonder if they still have the funds needed to do marketing...
I'm gonna be stuck holding xcm forever aren't I.

every one of their investors knows what kind of market they got in, they are aware of all the things that could happen
probably not happy about it but won't just get up and leave

>> No.23097972

>>23097544
while they could possibly swallow the fact that the hack happened, they likely wont be happy about how it happened - that it wasn't a very complex hack and that there could have been simple precautions taken to either completely avoid this hack or to vastly minimize potential losses.
also the potential damage that the hacker could have caused was massive and cm is very lucky he only wanted crypto.
I think cm will succeed in the end, but I also believe this is more than a small speedbump, it might slow things down considerably.

CM is not my only exchange and I even looked briefly at Nash. But yesterday was pretty cringe watching the Nash community trying to capitalize on the hack in the CM telegram chat. Watching those brainlets join one after another and trying to spread FUD so obviously was super desperate ngl.
