Essentially, whenever you go to place an order, picture that your order is 'beamed' first to another institution, their computer sees that you're trying to buy GME @10.50, they drive up the price on it so that you pay more for it (and they pocket the difference)
Basically just selling your data so that their computer can make money on the trade you're making
In general, it's not going to affect you - you're not swinging a big account. I have it affect me very rarely in options, where the order book has 600 contracts for sale, and as soon as I hit buy 5 contracts it will readjust temporarily, where these 600 contracts will 'disappear' without any changes in volume / open interest

Basically, 1/15/21 is the date that your option contract expires. the $15c means its a call with a strike price of $15. When the strike price is reached, your contract is essentially worthless on the expiration date (since you can purchase the shares on the open market for that price). Prior to expiration, the long call will generally have value as the share price rises towards the strike price.

Yes, ideally you want it to go over 15 and stay over it and then sell well before the expiration so that you don't risk it falling back below the strike, because if it goes below the strike then it will be worthless after expiration. If it's still above the strike after expiration it isn't worthless, it has whatever value there is between the strike and actual current market price x 100 x number of contracts you were holding, but as you said you're better off not actually waiting until then because it's risky.
