I've never held ETH long term and really dislike doing so
I wondering if paying $20 is worth it to convert it to USDT so it keeps its current value
It's gone up $10 since I started holding and now idk wtf to think

I know there's ETH Chads on here that have it as a Top 3 Hold, what's the good word?

I used to think eth was all hype, but with scaling solutions becoming a reality in the near future and the fact that nearly all of crypto runs on it I've become a believer. With the eth defi movement gaining momentum it's easy to see that eth will skyrocket within the next year or so.

I dont know how new or poor are you but just dont do 1m timeframes.....all real money i made in crypto (over $20k trades) was just holding shit for looong time than selling

I'm not looking to make money, I'm looking to simply not lose it while I hold it for a bit
I don't want to cash it to my bank because I don't feel like having it taxed yet

if ETH is going up for a while (idc how slowly) I'll hold it
If ETH gang people think it will crash again then I will convert it to something stable like USDT to preserve its value

this isn't about fat gainz

Swap for tether then stuck a thumb up your ass right before eth.2.0

is eth2.0 a new currency or just a new system? is it making the current ETH obsolete? (which still isn't the original eth)

I've been hearing about 2.0 for what seems like years..... is there any actual real news at all?

>> No.22888426

ETH 1.0 has basically reached it's scalability limits and I think the sideways price reflects that. Once ETH 2.0 rolls out and layer 2 scaling continues to improve expect the price to return to it's old ATH at least. I think a lot of neat stuff will be built on ETH 2 and then it's going to soar in price

medalla testnet is live for 2.0

wouldn't be surprised to see mainnet launch in 2021
