40% APY is excellent by boomer standards and great if you have a shitload of capital, but if you're poor (below $50k), it's really not worth the time for the yields (and the fees required just to farm, although that doesn't apply while gas is back down). People with a few grand farming haven't even broke even from the $40-60 spent on approving spend limit, pooling, depositing to farm, approving limit again, and those exact fees needed just to unpool.

Attached is an image of my eth transaction calculator, to approve, swap, addliquidity, and at some point, remove liquidity in uniswap is a total of $13.54 at 100 gwei and current eth prices. That's 1.35% on $1000, Less than .75% on $2000.

Any amount is good. The thesis is that you're essentially just capturing fees coming in and out of Coinbase, and that may be really all you need if we get another bull run. APY is looking to be ~12-15%. Yeah it's on the lower end of yields, but it's practically risk free.

In short, any amount is fine, but I'd throw in at least $1000 to start. It's basically free money.

I don't provide liquidity for retarded foodcoins. Tether is a highly reputable long standing stablecoin, while USDCoin is Coinbase's "gotta get in on that shit" carbon copy that is the only stablecoin on Coinbase. Depending on where people want to trade if they want to diversify off Coinbase, they may need to fuck off out of USDC and into USDT due to variable exchange listings. Honestly, it's not all that complicated.

Broadly speaking, just look for high volume pools. If you only have a few addresses touching a pool, it's probably scammers trying to bait others in. Most reputable pools will have providers in the thousands.
