I am a neet. Unemployment isnt enough to live off. Yeah id work in a factory, but i have no idea how to get work in it. I dont have enough money to learn how to drive or i would do.

Accounting and programming would be perfect but im really horrible at maths and have the attention span of a goldfish. The only things i am good at is art and music. I have been considering going to university for it. But im worried about career prospects.

I am an autist. I have a CS degree (new grad, no internships, no experience), but I am too mentally ill and have certain other problems that make it impossible for me to do software engineering right now.

I am soon to be homeless. I am staying in short-term housing that is very expensive. I can't get a real apartment because I don't have a job. After I pay off my credit card, I will only have a few hundred bucks to my name. I need a job ASAP. Anybody have any recommendations? I've heard warehouse jobs are good for autists and are easy to get; there are warehouses in my area, so I could do that.

Thanks man, i honestly just want more perspective from people that have been through it. Everybody in my immediate sphere of influence is in the same boat or completely oblivious to the issues im going through. I dont really feel very close to my family and i cant afford a therapist. Theres no one to look to for guidance really.

I walked into the bar gave them my cv and said id like a job. I had worked the previous Christmas as a bar back restocking the bar.

They took me in a for a couple of trial shifts. A week later the manager called me in and said i had lied on my cv about having bar experience because i accidentally put a shot in after a mixer. (i dont remember doing this at all)

She didnt believe me and just kept saying " i know how it is i have kids, you have to do what you have to do".
I kept telling her i didn't lie but she was insistent that i had because i wouldnt have made that mistake if i had have bar experience. One of her staff told her i did that. There was no way i could argue.
In all honesty i might have done it. I dont drink and i didnt really get any training as a bar back in how to pour drinks properly as i think they just assume everyone has been to a bar before and know what theyre doing.
