My great-great-grandfather had a slaughterhouse empire and they were rich as fuck. He built one of the top families in my country from zero.

They divided the fortune between brothers, they overspent and fucked eachother.
My lineage branch became absolutely poor because it came from mostly women who were exceedingly spending all the wealth.
I was born very poor, 8 people in the same 3-bedroom house, I shared room with my parents and brother. My dad didn't even finish highschool and had no connections whatsoever and increasingly in debt.

I manage to get educated by myself because my parents couldn't afford university.
Now I'm 24 and already did a literal 100x, live in a 300sqmt apartment in the city center, drive an expensive car, traveled around the world, worked for many top-tier companies, very highly demanded and working my own company now. Also getting in the crypto business, mastered understanding about defi and able to spot good investments.
Money-making genes have kicked-in on me. I see normies everywhere with no ambitions, discipline or financial wisdom; they wagecuck to get in debt for useless short-term shit and have no goals in life.

Don't take the path that everyone takes and you won't get their results.

I am that ancestor.

I grew up in a lower middle class family, and now I'm a multi-millionaire off crypto, and expecting to be a hundred-millionaire on the next bullrun.

You're not wrong, my great-great-great-great-grandad was living in extreme poverty in a slum in Mumbai until one-day at the local internet cafe he found out he could redeem 400 UNI (the legacy governance token of the Intergalactic Uniswap Exchange, which I believe was just called "Uniswap" at the time). This was back in the early 21st century. It was only worth a couple thousand dollars at the time (a few million today?) but he never sold them. He died in a toilet construction accident but my great-great-great-grandad inherited them and they were passed down the generations as a family heirloom. Eventually the passive income could sustain my entire family, and then my entire extended family as well, and eventually the entire slum was brought out of extreme poverty and became one of the leading factions here, in the Republic of India.

My family is poor, but now I am rich. Yet they are still poor.

My family is poor because they believe in "hard work" wage slaving. You can't save them.

Who even knows where my money should go if I die, if it went to them it'll be going to a car company and a load of consumer trash. Gone within a year I'd say.

This is honestly the worst feeling. Imagine accumulating massive wealth hoping to set your children and future family up for the generations to come, but knowing deep down they might give into the temptation of consumerism and ruin their own lives. Even a strong willed person can lose sight of what really matters when put into a position of modern extravagency

Deep feels anon indeed. The thing is, you have to experience starting at 0 TO APPRECIATE money & effort/vision.
Like, I've sacrificed a good portion of social/drunk young life to get where I am. I'm not super wealthy but I can work/do what the fuck I want whenever I want. I've bought my freedom in exchange for hard work/no lifing a couple of years. I'm 22 now, started when I was 15. (I've had a few gfs though, not all is lost!)

If you start with a lot, it is often hard to grasp this concept. I'm not very good at wording it desu, but its a theme I've seen reposted countless times on this board and across the business world as a whole.

Hard question, you need something that gives you a vision. Mine is to do with games, but I don't wanna disclose anything more specific because it is easy to identify me.

Unless your trading ofc, then you just need that big brain working lol.

>> No.22706476

>>22706360
That's my problem exactly, I dont have a clear vision. I've had quite a few good ideas, but people are already doing them. Other things that I think would be rewarding, I dont have the skillset, time, or money to do. All of these are hard to acquire for me despite my efforts. Right now, I'm trying to bust my ass a little wageing so I can at least get some of that green stuff.

I grew up pretty well off, both parents in household on a 250 acre farm but we had lots of rough patches along the way especially during 2008 as well as when my mom was killed in a car accident. We were basically scraping by off food stamps because my dad didnt make nearly enough money to raise 3 kids on his own. Shit was weird man, some of it i cant grow out of. Chicken livers have become an item of high value to me because my dad would buy fried chicken livers on fridays as a kind of special meal to break up the monotony of potato soup and rice.
I love fried chicken livers and i love my dad. 21 now, no debt besides mortgage on a house i just bought a few months ago. Making about 58k driving a semi locally. Definitely havent made it but i budget every penny and i have financial goals laid out for every 5 years
