Basically my only interests in life are video games, guns, flying, history, and my finances.
I don't really need a degree for much of my interests but my parents insist and are paying for it all.
What degree should I go for? Something like business/economics/finance?

If you're into flying, why not become a pilot?

That's my long term career goal but my parents want me to get a degree still. And admittedly it would be nice to have a degree to qualify for Air Force/Navy pilot.

Nice, if you're set on having a career in the aviation sector and you're definitely going to do a degree then aerospace engineering would be a good one, but you probably know that.

If you want to have more of a general degree to fall back on incase you choose another path then you can't go wrong with economics.

Same. I did B.S. psychology. Shit worked out 10 years later.

problem with that is, 99% of all departments are pozzed to extreme. "economics" will now just harp on mmt, keynesian, etc - it literal advanced maxist studies now

Sounds like you have it made. If you're not a dummy, definitely get your degree in something STEM then join the airforce or navy as a pilot. Warning: GOING NAVAL AVIATOR IS EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE if you want to fly, think of transport aircraft, much more transferable when you get out anyway.

It depends on how high your IQ is.
You would be better off with a degree in applied science if you ever want to apply your degree to a semi-fun job, but if you want a job that gets you the big bucks, if you are high enough IQ and are patient you could get a degree in statistics.

Can't go wrong with pure mathematics, it will help you no matter what you end up doing.
