Yeah I feel sorry for newfags who might have missed XMR because it's relatively far down cmc at 18 right now. I feel like a shill making the occasional thread but honestly with Monero it's a public service.

You might get lucky and it could dip one more time but I wouldn't risk it, especially if you don't have any yet.

Yeah now's the time to put off nonessential purchases and get creative with the essential ones. It looks like we're ramping up to another big bull. Good luck, anon.

If PS5 actually looked like that I could put my UNI in it.

October update is nicely timed for some bullish action. CLSAG both reduces the size of transactions and makes them process faster, which helps with demand. If we start taking off I can see us breaking transaction ATHs every day for weeks.

What has monero done recently? Seriously interested, just haven't been paying attention to them lately

XMR isn't a very flashy coin, but in recent memory I can think of the regulatory whitepaper advocating privacy coins that just dropped, CipherTrace claiming to have 'broken' 90% of Monero transactions (and then getting humiliated), research into Triptych and quantum resistance, and Travala accepting XMR. There's more I can't think of right now.

How much do you need to catch up on? Development continues as always; Monero still has the strongest dev stats after btc and eth. The next hardfork is very soon and has some good improvements as mentioned by >>22636403. The legal advice paper to help exchanges and businesses feel confident that monero is legal was released a few days ago after what feels like forever.

What I think is the biggest thing though is something that has gone mostly unnoticed; certainly I haven't seen any media articles about it. The largest dark net market that accepted BTC shutdown recently. The next biggest markets accept XMR exclusively. This is the major real use case for cryptocurrency at the moment and Monero has usurped Bitcoin. I realize the market is very different from 2016 but it was a Wired article about XMR being accepted for the first time at AlphaBay that triggered a massive run up in price. I'm still waiting for the article about XMR dethroning BTC in the real world but honestly it would be awesome if the legal paper got traction first and we have a Coinbase listing before DNM success becomes fud.

So as always, good things are happening at Monero and right now it feels like the price to good news ratio is quite low. Good time to be loading up.

Not unless Exodus are retarded which I don't think they are so no.
