What happened will probably hurt them in the short/medium term. If they had taken precautions against those massive buys by a handful of people they would still have gotten the same amount of Ether but also have a thriving community of people shilling their browser. Instead there are now only a little over 130 people with a direct stake in Brave's success.

Also, who will want to invest in a coin that's completely manipulated by the 5 people/institutions who own half the tokens?

They won the ICO but they also lost it in a way.

Fuck paying 9x 10 minutes after the ico. BAT should have had a system in place to prevent scalping, like a captcha and time limit to buy.
