Do people really not know how to cancel from metamask?

Search up a youtube video if it’s not clear enough, I’ll try my best:

1.) Go into advanced settings and find something that allows you to customize the nonce.

2,) go into the site that allows you to see your ethereum transaction history. Figure out what the nonce is for the pending transaction thats 4 hours long.

3,) copy your own metamask address, send “0” ethereum to yourself, manually set the gas fee to being very high so you can over ride that transaction. Make sure you edit it so you’re sending it FOR that same nonce. Make sure you got that last part right or you’ll really be screwed, god speed whoever needs this

If its not shown, it was never accepted into the transaction pool. It can take a long time to be confirmed, but if its not on etherscan within a minute, your transaction is dead.
