Talk shit to some white gymbro until he punches you. Then sue him for 100k+. Do it in a nicer neighborhood so you can try and get him to settle out of court.

I'll try to give you an actual answer. You need to either:
A) Need to create or get your hands on something of value, and then sell it for a profit
B) Offer a service/specialty of value that you can charge money for to see profit
The hard part is figuring out how effort much you're putting in versus, how much value/equity you're getting back out of that. This is vague, but it's for you to think about.

Ideas:
>Learn how to properly trade stocks/crypto/forex
>Get your hands on some real estate you can rent out or resell at a higher value after some renovation
>Sell some of your old shit around your home like video games you don't play anymore or electronics you don't care for
>Offer to do consulting or paperwork for someone (granted you have the skills)
>Code a app/program you can sell (granted you have the skills)

The big thing with passive income is it's never entirely passive, you'll usually have to give something to get something, anything that generate income usually takes time to set up. You want to get to a point where you're making money in your sleep becuase if you're trading your time for money then that's just a job, which is fine, but it's no longer passive at that point it's active.

Got any tips on where to start with stocks/crypto?

I suggest lurking /smg/ and actually going into the links in the OP. Crypto is a bit harder to get into becuase there's so much misinformation and shilling, but with all of this you have to adopt the mindset of a student, search things up, shit even take notes and practice trade if you have to. It's a marathon not a race though, the guys getting rich fast are lucky or put their time in to get to that point.

I'll look into it, thanks. I'm not really looking to get rich from this, I'm just trying to make some cash to lessen the financial burden on my parents since I'm a student.

That's pretty respectable, good luck man.
