Two years of pain and losses, now finally making it

In 2017 when bitcoin was shooting up I bought some on coinbase a couple of times then sold it immediately after. Made about 5 grand. Haven't touched crypto since.

So most of us all are crap at the beggining, thats a relief

What made you believe in the project back then?

Flipped 5k into 30k but September nuked my bags back to 15k. I'm still in the green but I really fucking wish I swung.

At first I found the project shortly after ICO and didn't do my own fucking goddamn research like a real man and paid the price. Came back when it was $4 after doing extensive research into the projected value, use cases, team, tokenomics, connections, etc.

I only ever put like 5% of my worth into it anyway. I could've made a killing if I'd been willing to dump everything into it, but I also could've been completely ruined. Crypto's just not for me. I'll stick to normal gambling, aka the stock market.

Watched eth and btc develop from the sidelines thinking I was too late when they were £10 and 40p respectively. Jumped in right at the end of 17, turned £500 into £6000 in a few months then back down to £1000. Crabbed for a few years and started trading again more recently and got up to 10k. Still chump change but hoping another bullrun will get me something decent

Bought 0.108 btc at 19k because I was a fucking fomo normie. Was green for a few days and then suicidal. Took 0.008, paid 0.001 to send it to Binance, bought 250+ Link. Ignored crypto. 2020 arrives and my random Link purchase recouped my 2k capital. Now I've studied HARD what trading is and how to do it and am slowly turning my btc into a bigger btc stack.

6k -> 500k -> 25K -> 500k -> 330k

From 2016 to now, a wild ride

I started with 8K in 2017 - got up to 200K - thanks Raiblocks!
Took 100K out to buy a car and pay taxes (these figures are in Oz Bucks) left 100K in - got slaughtered to 14K in early 2018. Part of that was Link - tossed the rest into Link. Put a bit more into Link (maybe another 10K - which was about 30K Link at the time). And now have a million worth of Linkies. But I haven't cashed anything in since the first 100K

Bought bitcoin back in 2013 to buy drugs, also held a btc or two until 2016 when I bought a bunch of waves and forgot about it. Road about a 2k initial to a high of 120k and lost about 80% of it after the crash. Been learning ever since and had a decent 2019 and great 2020 so far.

I made a 1500 investment into 30k, but got greedy and watched it turn into 10k, then I got really drunk and FOMO'd into a shitcoin and went to 800.
