i still love FAGMAN but i want to know what to look for in regards to when a "bottom" starts to form that i can buy before the next rally. like, im hoping AMD gets down to at least around 60 based on the previous range before softbank fucked everything up. 60 to 90 would be a nice profit for a buy and hold.

I am finally having my money clear because of some account fuckery when I was selling my TSLA gainz and I was originally planning on splitting between

Yep. I only monitor the two most important ones. These two seem to play in to price action more often than others: 50 day EMA and 200 day SMA. Sometimes 200 week sma gets involved. S&P has a habit of using the 200 week as a rough place to stage a rebound after serious drawdown. If that lines get broken it means pure crash. Said line has not broken since 2008 by the by. It's also way down at $2758 right now.

any difference between HD and LOW or are they basically the same? how are we doing with the potential catalysts from the hurricane shit or other natural disasters that could come up?

i'll be honest i've been looking for a company that safely crabs in the general upward direction for quite some time now. i might look at some daily charts tomorrow now that im out of tech. i unironically just want something i can safely churn my 50k into more money by buying dips on, the only thing i currently have figured out is DCA'ing shorts on the VXX at 30+ because it deals with in contango decay and due to following the VIX which measures volatility it literally always goes back down. like it's literally physically impossible for volatility to stay high for that long in can only spike temporarily, it's the perfect trade when spikes occur (which isn't all the time).

i desperately want a good mean reversion stock that pays good divvies (so i can hold long term if i need to outlast and extended dip or covid-style crash) that i can keep buying the dip and selling the rip on, over and over. is HD that stock?

So buy one. I’m shilling HD because I own it but there’s plenty out there. Look for blue chip companies that have been around forever and consistently show good stock price growth as well as growth within the company itself. HD, TGT, CAT, JNJ, KO. During major bull runs it’ll look weird next to the FAGMANs of your portfolio but during downturns you’ll be glad you have them.

If the REIT guy is still in here I'll shill SPG.

People will say malls are about to die but they are really about to be repurposed into luxury goods sellers and fulfillment centers for companies like Walmart, Amazon and Target. First day delivery is the most important thing in the universe right now, fulfillment centers have to be expanded into the suburbs to achieve this. Empty Sears, JCPenney etc. stores can become these centers.

SPG has become a brilliant buyer of luxury goods stores that have went bankrupt during the pandemic. Basically google it but its a lot. They are going to take certain malls and reimagine them as places the rich go to shop for fine things.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/08/business/retail-bankruptcy-authentic-brands.html

If either of these things happen or both you could see 100% gain in 5 years + a 1.5$ dividend every quarter.

Hope this helps!

you're playing a dangerous game with REITs when there are too many zombie businesses that are kept alive only because of government money even before the pandemic. Even ignoring that, you're still not gonna get gains just buying a REIT and hoping it's going to suddenly grow. Your REIT will just collect the rent as it usually does while its tenants are the one actually making the massive growths.

you're trying to shill about fulfillment centers and shit, but that's off set by the fact that you're also going to see a gradual decline in office and commercial real estate.
You want the "first day delivery" ecommerce shit youu're trying to shill, you're going to have to find out what those individual retail/e-commerce picks are. REITs are not the play here for the future you are trying to think of.

The new iphone will be selling like crack. Cause the 5G. Look at your net speed. You probability don't even use half of what your paying for. Yet you still keep it. 5G will be no different. Don't mater if they don't actually need it, the fact it's "there" will be the only thing that maters. Also consider; once the 5G is out watch them kill 4G and older support. Then you won't have any other option; upgrade or do without. I'm not talking about Apple killing support but a general move by the providers to end legacy support. (T,VZ,TMUS). Makes it easier on them you know. They'll do it; MSFT does it with windows support, no one blinks, just upgrades to the new like clockwork.

Facts about the market
-A dollar is NEVER worth less than a dollar, only equal or more
-The bottom line value of ALL companies is PE minus speculation
-The top line value of ALL companies is PE plus speculation
-You are somewhere between these two metrics
-A decreasing PE does not automatically mean a lower share price, EPS*PE, 2.5*50=125, 4*35=140
-Retail investors are automatically priced in and adjusted for by institutions, and never play a functional role in the value of a company
-We are currently 20%-30% above historic PE for the entire market, however this historic PE has an element of speculation, and the current PE obviously does as well so this cannot be looked at without quantifying sentiment/speculation
-Institutions are using GPT-3+ to run natural language processing and machine learning in order to quantify the qualitative nature of sentiment/speculation
-Without giving yourself an adequate time span to deal with this you WILL lose more than you win
-If you aren't learning neural networks at this exact moment you are absolutely lying when you say you have an idea of what a stock will look like tomorrow, 6 months from now, 5 years from now
-The PE of entire sectors/markets move in related ways
-Meme lines are literally just a post-priori representation of the value adjustments relating to PE+Speculation, and are not in any way shape or form crystal balls
-There is multiple times over enough cash to pump the DOW to 50k, institutions simply choose not to

basically this shit either crashes hard or it doesn't. i don't know which will happen, but both sides have large ramifications for how i handle the markets moving forward. i mean imagine if say TSLA and AAPL go up again and make new ATH's relatively soon, how fucking crazy would that be? what would you think of the markets if that happened? it'd be fucked up but it might happen who knows. i'd like to see a return to the daily moving averages at least since clearly 16x ATR anon is correct.

We’re way “over bought” and we have an average of 20% of homes that should already be in foreclosure but aren’t due to cares act.

Next year or late winter will be a much better time to buy. Housing usually lags 6-12 months behind a stock market/jobs dump. But the cares act stopped that natural cycle.

>NORMAL TIER

>JEW TIER
*Writes* the financial news, has access to insider trading tips but will never get caught because they're not retarded
>TRANSHUMAN TIER
Has access to mass market data and computer algorithms (aka "Artificial Intelligence", or what most people think of as AI anyway) that process massive amounts of data so as to manage portfolios. And of course also gets the benefit of insider trading, but they probably don't really need that information because of the speed at which their networks can process and make use of market data. At this level, "information from insider trading" is more like "has access to google/facebook/other Brave New World-esque Big Brother tech database analytics," vs what most people probably think like a tip from a guy who works for a guy whose wife's niece's daughter thinks a Wall Street bigwig is going to put his money into [insert next meme stock here] or whatever the fuck.

Basically, he's saying that the only way to beat the market is to have access to that level of data and data processing capabilities.
