OP I do what you (apparently) do and I put it all in crypto, in fact I have been doing this for years now and no issues with IRS or anything else, you're really not going to have a problem as long as you do smallish amounts at a time and don't cash out.
Of course 20k in crypto right now prob isn't enough to make it this bullrun, but it'll be a damn good start. And if you're going to continue to get more cash, just put it there.
